I wouldn't want you to bork your install again but i'd be interested if it did it a second time. From my understanding how mods are applied it doesn't touch the game files, it only gets applied on top of the games files upon loading, in order of load order.

No idea, then. But it was working fine before I added this mod, then after I added it, it kept crashing and I had to do a complete reinstall of the game.

Shouldn't be possible to break an entire install with workshop mods. But i just ran it again on my Steam Deck and Windows 11 desktop with a host of other mods no issues.

This mod somehow broke my installation. The game freezes every time I try to start a career, even after disabling this mod. I'm currently having to verify the installation. No mods that conflict, as far as I can tell.

Its not the exact shade and glow of the original, but I got it close lol. I still don't know why scaling the hud causes it. I will probably have to recreate this mod from scratch at some point as they continue making changes to everything.

I made it to YAML's discord, but I am totally lost now. I rarely use discord and don't really know how to/where to start in a place so big. I got a couple screenshots of the circles.

I did update this mod to include the Objective Panel blueprint and forced it to teal for the default color. At some point it looks like PGI made the default color black then was changing it somewhere else. This shouldn't affect other things but mods that do custom objectives might be affected. I don't know of any off the top of my head. Please report back any issues. Thanks.

I just checked on my Deck and do not see a red and yellow circle on my screen. I do now see the objective text coming in black but I don't even know why what would be because all i'm doing is scaling that entire box, not touching the text.

Can the mod be updated to work with the latest patch ? I am getting a red and yellow circle right in the middle of the screen. This patch has been a godsend for my tired eyes and i clocked over 90 hours playing mw5 on deck thanks to it.

Yeah, i think a few other hud mods suffered it after the update. It's an odd one as i agree, you're just resizing stuff. I was careful that this mod was the only one enabled on my deck.

Interesting. All this mod is doing is applying a scale to each element. It shouldn't be affecting the text or color itself. Will have to look into it further.

This mod seems to make the text black for mission obective counters (such as kill counters in warzone). Made sure this was the only mod active and issue persisted. Its a minor issue. Just in case anyone else is seeing it. Mod probably needs tweaking.

All the stuff when I use it on my steam deck is too big, also the damn paper doll has been moved to the right for reason.

if you're not using YAML then you can use my "larger weapon text" mod. It makes the text larger but not the whole box so its easier to read but YAML messes with the weapon text so its not compatible with it if you are.

you can download the MW5 editor, go into the hud asset and then move whatever you want, wherever you want and scale it how you like. Then publish the mod. Thats about the only way to do it.

yeah not being able to see what ammo was left was rough. Without shifting the mini map over or anything its about as big as I can get it now. I actually play with this on my desktop aswell and its pretty nice.

This one basically replaces my other two. "Larger Weapon Text" wasn't compatible with "Yet Another Weapon" because it replaces parts of the weapon list widget. I made the weapon most of the affected elements about twice as large in this mod and re positioned them slightly to account for it. I've updated it since the screenshots and honestly it works pretty well even on desktop imo.

May want to get the other mods for the deck, it actually baffles me PGI didn't even consider upscaling the HUD for the deck.
