it's possible but pixel perfect, the scale of the gradient is 1 pixel, so you would only get color bleed.

Is it possible to generate a seed on the weapon which is on the boarder between two colours?
If so, a siginificant chunk of weapons in this war paint won't look good.

Concept is cool but, resulting weapons all look very uninteresting.

I like the shininess, but overall bland and uninspired. also Put text and a title that can be easily translated.

I really, really appreciate the respect & dedication to subtlety on display here! Keeping the original weapons' appearances while adding the flash of paint color really makes all the difference! I would've been extremely tempted to add a lot more color in several areas, but I think that would've detracted from the appeal; the minimalism at play both matches the Mhankö theming and looks suuuper clean, without being too busy. Hope we can see this in at some point!

this warpaint is genius, and Ive always thought it would be cool if you could unbox weapons that are only themed off a single color. I really hope this gets added into the game

I've been playing since 2011, I already know lmao. The fact is that if the game lives long enough, we are going to run out of strange parts since Valve won't release more. It's a pretty poorly designed system

you could make pink, black, lime and white more common just try to evenly space everything out the only people that would be upset about that are trader mains that would use this skin to make profit, and there are a lot more casual tf2 players than there are traders

I hate to break it to you but every single crate in tf2 since its inception (unless purchasable in the mann co store) has been limited. there's never been a non-limited droppable case. Even things like Jungle Inferno's cases, which are still accessible via the contracker store, are in limited quantities.

This would be great for a "general" case. The option to have paintable weapons be not limited edition to one short seasonal event would be great.
Otherwise it'll end up like Winter 2017, where the chances of finding the skin you want after a year or so drop to none

That is not possible with war paints. It can have albedo tinting (like yeti coated, macaw masked) but it would make the entire weapon shiny like this.

Also, the material i'm emulating is plastic. Plastic doesn't have a metallic shine.

There is a very slim chance of getting 2,3, or 4 colors. But the chances are very low (about a .05% chance on average) since it just selects from a 2x2 px location, which is the minimum size it can be.

Wait, it there a chance that the warpaint can load in 2 colors? Or is it locked to only display one on the entire warpaint

It's cool, but the texture is just really really empty. It needs some kind of material look to distinguish it, maybe wood or a subtle brushed metal look.

I genuinely hope this gets in as a mercenary grade paint to encourage hunting for rare patterns like Macaw fans do
