I had my defaults saved for a while but they went away and I don't see the instructions to save them like I saw before. Is that functionality still working? How do we do it?

研究了一下,虽然我没有能力改进兼容,但是可以规避这个冲突,只要在mod设置里把薄荷高塔的【在地图旁边显示小地图】这个选项关闭,就可以规避这个bug,使得Map Marks模组可以正常使用

这个模组和薄荷高塔模组有冲突,会导致Map Marks模组没办法右键对对应的图标右键高亮显示,
不过薄荷高塔的功能我没发现有什么bug,
非常难受,我试着调了排序,不管怎样始终会有冲突导致Map Marks模组没办法右键高亮显示,
只能一键对对应的某个图标使用相同颜色,其他的倒是没啥问题,画画没问题,就图标右键高亮显示会有问题,两边讨论区我都会留言,希望这个能bug能解决可以兼容,这两个模组我都特别喜欢

Updated to 0.2.0 which adds localisation support and saving default colours for both the colour selector and default room type colours if you've applied a colour to all colours of that type.

@Pearlescent sorry will need a bit more time for your fix, sometime soon though!

Great thanks, yeah I can see on similar square-r resolutions it's off a bit, frankly it looks like the original creator had issues working out how to fix it and went with a simpler approach as a temporary fix, might take a minute to work it out but I should have something up fairly soon

My resolution is 3024x1964 (14 inch macbook). I guess that comes out to around 15.4:10 so yes much more square. I'll test it on my 16:9 monitor soon

Yeah I can look at that, does help to know the resolution, it's usually an aspect ratio thing and I'm assuming you're either ultrawide or much more square

Also would love it if there could be a "reapply saved highlights" button--I find myself accidentally clearing it

@Partybrian5000 hey I found a bug--the node right click detection isn't working for me. I believe it's because I'm not playing on 1920x1080 resolution; I can check that resolution later to confirm. Right clicking a map node just brings up the radial color selection menu, but if I guesstimate and right click half the screen below the node I want, then the node far above me starts getting highlighted. Feel free to add me and dm if you have more questions but I'd love to use this more if it could be fixed!

I can also look at adding localisation support/ai translations people can fix later in another update

Can you add a feature in the mod's config where you can pick a default color? I believe it always defaults to red.

Incompatible with Spire Biomes. Causes the "Biome" map effect to not show up on the map, resulting in the biome tooltips being inaccessible.

Yeah, i usually play with controller myself and know that feeling. I myself am not subscribed since i find that the multiplayers version of marking is good enough, even though this mod is way better in functionallity. But not supported for controller.

I ended up unsubscribing. I play with controller but need to use the mouse from time to time, i press right click to make the mouse's cursor visible, but with this mod i make a mess on the map whenever i do that 😅

The highlighted path dissapears after entering a node (it was a fight, in my case). When i returned to the map, the path was no longer there.

is this intended? 🤔

@BEAST Uncertain to why, since emulation for the keys should be the same, but this is something you should take with the mod creator, but he/she hasn't updated in a while so might be a dead end. But worth a try. Just visit the github link and do a bug report :steamhappy:

hello, how do I make it work with steam deck? Subscribed to mod, mapped mouse right click to L4 but nothing happens in game on the map.

@dandap2009 instead of downloading through github, i have uploaded the same files on workshop. So just subscribe and both easel.jar and mapmarks.jar should install and you can select it in the mod menu

So when you subscribe both will show up in mod list!

Hello,

I had already been using MapMarks by manually installing it from casey-c's github but it required a dependency called "easel".

Is that dependency not required here?

Also, would I be correct in assuming this is the same Alpha 0.0.2 from the GitHub?
