Hey, just tried playing Troy in the Iliad campaign (not sandbox), but at the end of the introductory voice lines the camera stops at the armies around Troy and just stays there, not starting the game. Any ideas on what to do?

no, I can't exactly remember where, but in the settings you have something related to unit colors, it shouldn't be hard to find

I randomly came across this remaster and it's awesome to see that Aristeia has been given a new lease of life. Thanks very much to everyone involved with porting it. I helped make the original mod including all of the units back in the day. It's nice to know that people have fond memories of it and can enjoy it again in rome remastered.

@Marci, switch to "realistic" unit textures in the options menu, should fix the issue

i like the mod but for some reason all unit cards are missing, for me they appear as roman peasant unit cards, this is without any other mods enabled

Thank you for this beutifull mod based on Iliad.I downloaded the mod but i find some dificulties tryimg playing it.The most serius problem is that when im trying to play custom battle or one of the campaigns,i cant becuse there is no cursor arrow,it dissapears and there are bugs everywhere in the menu options in my screen so i can't play.Any ideas how to fix it???

depends, for the main campaign I'd say one of the isolated factions, such as in the far north or the far south of the map. For the Sandbox campaign, Minos can be pretty good, probably.

Just uploaded a major fixed to address the random bpdyguard units bug, you should no longer be seeing multiple Agamemnons or Achilles units running around on the campaign map

yes completly frozen, the game just stop work and had to be shut down, but btw this just happend now again in another mod,as far as i can say i never occurred in this problem,not even before with the same mods

game crashes after few turns with successful wins when playing troians idk why tried few times new campaign but ctd every time. Some times there was bug that didnt allow to enter manual battle , only gave me choice of auto resolve battles. And yes as mentioned below some times it just doesnt allow to pause game during battle. But i liked overall gameplay even tho i only could play few turns before ctd happens every new campaign :D

I found a really annoying bug, and idk if anyone else is suffering from this. I can't pause the game. Like, when I press the ESC key, the pause menu does not appear, meaning I have to ctrl-alt-delete out just to leave the game.

@Raiden "Jack the Ripper" Eventually after something else undisclosed is deep into being worked on. I plan on adding an expanded content addon to Aristeia Remastered including many new Greek, Anti-Greek, Trojan, Anti-Trojan and neutral factions with their set Epic Cycle heroes. But beyond that not much else for now. Maybe port a larger map but honestly I would only cover the Oresteia, Nostoi, Odyssey. as in my opinion the Aeneid is just Roman fanfiction and erases a lot of continuity. Also maybe because only Virgil made Augustus look like an idiot since almost no ancient person especially a Roman or Greek found admirable traits in most of the Trojans unless by Hector, Troilus, and Memnon (which all three perpetually wouldn't even be closely related to Augustus). So while yes Aeneas was a minor character based or concieved off a real bronze age person (like most if not all Homeric human charatcers) It is a stretch in both a mythological and historical sense. :--)

great mod.units look awesome and love the idea(chefs kiss),but i have found a bug. i crash to desktop as soon as i try to use the city viewer. tried every faction and past a few turns and its the same problem every time.

oh believe me there a video about it despite the myth when it come to the location history and timeing of troy or illos troy my be a history that became myth

because "myth isn't intrepidly as made up rather it dosen't fit the historical narrative and serves a foundation to a culture"

an besides if Herodotus was there it be a history but in those days before history happen base on the whim of the gods and it happen when civilization fell for the first time 1190 bc

how ever some character and event could have be pieces of other events and many characters name made up

like priam (to buy or bribe) for the king or paris meaning pretty boy for the prince

troy it self was powerful in the illiade and in historical terms

but mostly this mere interpretation

one can not say all myths are true but one can aruge there an onion of truth within

like king arthur or ragnar lothbrok and romance of the three kingdoms which isnt a myth more of a highly praised history with big romance

and yes, while we can't prove that the Iliad happened, I'm one to think that there is a lot more truth in this story than what is commonly assumed
