For those wondering, the SCRAP drops have been added by CA. No mod added getting scraps when you fuse purple items.
Moreover, the chance of getting scrap is like 95%, unless you get something that boosts it. So far I have found only an unusual location that increases that chance, so you can forget fusing purples until someone changes that.

thats not quite the same mod as it doesnt bring back the legendary items from before

the update ruined this mod. you can no longer get legendary items. combining blues, purples and legendaries all give you scrap

@KillZallTheBeast It seems as though this mod, and the other Fusion mods I've seen, are all having the same issue. It would be nice if the Scrap option was eliminated altogether.

all items say SCRAP now, I know you didn't make the mod and i personally thank you for keeping legacy mods going. Is there a fix-ability on this?

It looks like a new rarity was added called "scrap" and it is not good. Essentially ruining a two Rare fusion by giving you the middle finger.

This is a problem, the author made a good mod, but he has the right to delete it and just did it. It comes to the understanding that it is better to make mods yourself if you do not want your game to be ruined.

anyone know how to edit better_craft table so that the intro thing where you pick the 4 purple tokens pops up again? i found the table where it deals with the dilemma popping up and tried using common sense but it didn't work

It mainly just happens if youre MASS combing items in one go, its good to do just small sessions of combing stuff

I am unsure if getting a specific item when you combine causes the crash, or if combining too many items in one sitting causes the crash. But I found that if I combine things in small batches like only my green armor all at once, then save after I finish with the green armor just in case a crash does happen, not only am I saving more often and losing less progress when it crashes, but somehow not combining my entire inventory in one sitting also seems to reduce the number of crashes happening

If you don't like getting items from legendary Lords, there's a light version of this mod. You just have to put "Lite"

I could care less about getting other LL itiems, i dont find it "OP". Its just a singleplayer game primarily and usually playing against AI so who cares....

The mod works nicely but personally I don't like how it allows to obtain unique items belonging to Legendary Lords from any faction. I managed to get Valkia's Daemonshield with Grimgor among other powerful items. It just feels too overpowered.

We just need this mod to be updated lol

I don't know if this is the best place to ask this but one of my favorite parts of this mod is that it allows factions to get items from other factions item lists as loot, does anyone know if there's another mod that does that?

For those noting crashes after combining many items... that has been happening to me *without* this mod. So, I suspect it's an issue on CA's end and one must just do small batches between saves, in case a crash occurs.

Was fusing items, and after my 5th or 6th one, fused an old guards armor and the game crashed QQ

but putte the best advice i can give ya is to save, fuse a chunk of items, and later save again and restart the game. long process but it works xD

Even though it's a reupload, there is a problem in the mod that should be fixed. One of the tables wasn't renamed, so it completely overwrites the base game information. Namely db/ancillaries_included_agent_subtypes_tables/data__
