Although a difficult one, and I didn't execute the 2nd part of it well enough to pass the level, but it proves the concept.

It ruins the fun a little bit, but still a cool puzzle. The shortcut can be easily fixed with a fizzler that would prevent shooting the portal that facilitates the shortcut.

You can easily place the portal to push the cube away from the laser in time to avoid the laser wall, so you can avoid the last steps
Basically go to the other side, turn off the laser, putting the cube on the very edge of the wall as intended, but then place the funnel portal to push the button towards the door while standing in the laser wall. You then have enough time to get behind the laser wall before the bounding box of the cube leaves the part where the laser points, and then you can grab the cube from behind the lasers. Just a shortcut that should maybe be fixed... if thats even possible

Just did your A Box And A Button series. Most of these chambers had a very unique and clever solution, except for this one which didn't really require me to do any interesting moves. Either way, I enjoyed this series and i'm looking forward to more puzzles from you in the future.

Also, you can throw the cube over and then use the funnel to reposition it. I certainly can't figure out the intended solution, but I keep finding exploits lol

if you just used the tractor beam to go over the lasers then no, it was not the intended solution and I just fixed that.

I'm very curious what the intended solution is. I can't for the life of me figure out what the laser adds to the level, so between that and me solving it in about 1 minute I'm guessing I solved it in an unintended way.

I used the excursion funnel to push the cube up against the exit wall, and then carefully adjusted the portal over and over until I could grab the cube through the laser death field, then used the funnel to carry myself over to the exit. If this is an oversight, I'm quite ready for the real solution!
