Pretty sure the consumables would still affect the whole table, because as an experiment I combined three tables into one large one and after putting a candle down on the large one it turned into three candles for each segment of the table.

Looks good:) Two questions: Do all players need to have this or only host?
Second: with more table than one, 2/3 connected, when I have to serve on closest one, can I place consumables on other connected tables and it will still work?:)

I would say just make the napkins last the full day similar to candles, so that there's 2 and 2 of each type (permanent/nonpermanent), and the two non-permanent ones should have an infinite supply. What's the point of having a few breadsticks when you have 100 customers lined up? but at the same time, it is meant to make things more complex, not just easier.

I could see this for a new table type that has some sort of disadvantage. As is, I almost never pick up consumables because of too many other things to manage.

I suspect that the number of each consumable you get might need to be rebalanced, since being able to outfit an entire restaurant with a single cutlery box is really strong.
