Partially updated for PlateUp! 1.3.0, to at least remove the error screen. Actual functionality temporarily disabled due to breaking change.

Hello, this mod functions improperly in the latest update of PlateUp, version 1.2.0 (released on August 8, 2024). It seems the mod loads, but the names are not being displayed anymore

Are you checking from the main menu? I think you have to start a single or multiplayer game before the mod preferences menu gets populated.

Added an option in Mod Preferences to choose between steam name and profile name.

When profile name is selected, if the player's name is "New chef", a number will be displayed instead, representing their position in the player list (starting from 1 on the left).

Correct. This is mainly intended to be a lighter-weight alternative for people that just want it for MMO shenanigans. If you have Colorblind+, you already have this. I'm currently planning on keeping the features in both mods in sync.

Can there be an option added for local play that shows the profile name instead? Or maybe a selector in mod preferences?
