There's a conflict with the mod Cyanobot's Genes that causes Universum to fail to initiate (and, when game is started/loaded, the NEO field to inevitably not generate). This issue goes away if Cyanobot's Genes is loaded after Universum, and I let the other mod's author know as well, but in case there's a deeper compatibility issue that needs to be addressed, I wanted to report it here anyway. Here [gist.github.com] is a HugsLog showing the specific error in a bare minimum mod list.

After peeling my mod list away one by one... I've also just found that Universum makes entering the labyrinth impossible. Bugging out the game completely.
I also have a faint suspicion that it's also responsible for squads going missing when entering a distress signal territory.

Try to reload your save and see if it fixes it, sent out an update today (version 2.0.2) which fixed the issue of not deleting game objects properly. If you still have lag on the world map, you can go into the mod settings and reduce the number of asteroids that spawn, 3000 is the default so try something like 1000. Remember to press the Regenerate button after the change so it updates your save

The game component from universum called "Mainloop" is causing some extream levels of lag. Is this the bug you mentioned? Resubscribing didn't do much.

I cannot figure out how to send messages via discord (yes, I am that stupid...), but can confirm the loading issue. Loading the save again after getting those three random pawns turns things back to normal, but loading from the main menu once again creates a new random game with three pawns...

If I would guess where the problem lies, it would be with the backward compatibility feature which transfers the old world objects to the new one. I am not able to reproduce this so I am assuming it might have been a combination of this and a mod incompatibility. Either way, remove or use the old version for your current save and wait with the new version for when you start a new game.

Either this and/or rimnauts 2 newest update caused a weird bug where loading a save caused my colony to be replaced with 3 random colonists in a new start with a random items on the ground (like one of the default scenarios).

I don't know if newest update caused an incompatibility issue with the mods im using since the last version worked fine with my mods.

Just gonna disable it for now, but thought I should let you guys know.

Notable mods im using are: SoS2 experimental, a lot of the vanilla expanded stuff, better gc, rocketman, dubs performance analyzer, rimmsqol. Again last version worked fine, just the newest mod probably messed compatibility or something.

I will look at adding compression utility in the future but for now, the decompression can simulate this.

It is definitely possible to utilize this framework for that but for now, it will show as decompression damage . If you are still interested, you can see how to utilize Universum here:

In your case, you would only be interested in the first two utilities.

You will want to do this to each allowed weather on this biome to apply the damage.

- To allow apparel to defend against this effect, you will have to add the EVA tag to both the head and the body apparel. Example: https://github.com/RimNauts/RimNauts2/blob/main/Defs/ThingDefs_Items/SpaceSuit.xml#L64

- To allow animals to survive, you will have to add this tradeTag AnimalInsectSpace

Apologies if it's not the purpose of this mod, I wanted to try my hands at making a high pressure biome (underwater) rather than a low pressure one. While I understand it is not the original purpose of this framework, it already has many of the feature that would be needed for it (damages in open areas etc...) and I was wondering if it would be possible to create similar effect with it. Mostly suffocation and compression.
