Major bug/flaw: when you merge with texas you lose all your subjects and they leave the faction.

A proper post-integration to TEU set of changes was never completed, mostly cause this mod was made to hyperfixate on austin individually and we are stubborn, but also because if we gave it attention odds are we (I) would explode of exhaustion after feature creep

I'm not sure I fully understand the point of unifying with the Texas Republic. The focus tree has long since passed the opportunity to elect someone. The Republic has the council as a leader and no ability to select a real one, so I can't actually finish the focus tree and make the Republic of Texas. Is it supposed to reset the "Matters of State" focus so I can elect a new leader (including Keats?)

Could be a bug in the base mod, and could also be related to how long it took me to reach the bottom of the tree. Shale went completely dormant for over a year so the three-way fight wasn't until the end of 2278. I had to tag into him and click go on his battleplan because the AI just never attacked Los for whatever reason.

This submod doesn't change much past the nation of Austin, so independence has, be definition, more content. However all the paths have an intricately woven story and I highly reccomend playing all of them!

Got it in the second run. Though scarlet winning the first war (with help from my one nightkin) helped a ton ofc :). Is it better to be independent or stay in Texan faction? I'd rather be independent (strength/balance focused), but not sure which side has more content. Thx!

Never used caps in the mod before :) ok, will buy guns. But I had already maxed out nightkin in my current run. I'm only allowed 3-4 20 width nightkin anyway, so I don't see how that would make a big difference? Also crushers rebellion didn't help either.. I'm used to erx where you steamroll everything with no resistance, so this mod was a rude awakening for me :) will try again

Personal strat? Use caps to buy cheap guns, put most of your arms industry on spec ops equipment, use whatever army xp you get to increase spec ops capacity, and make as many nightkin as you can. If all else fails, nightkin won't, and they'll buy you enough time on the defensive to start getting some AT in your units.

i feel like you shouldve had alot more but 2277 thats a good 2 years of prep time, try researching anti-tank, and focusing manpower research so you can field more devisions, do the outsider doctrine tree for mutant buffs

I want to like this mod but.. it's way way way way waaaaaay too hard to win the 3-way war. mine started in 2277, and I have 22 divisions and 7 arms factories.. shale has 26 civ factories, and 25 arms factories. ironmongers have 17 and 16 + ridiculous tank divisions. division numbers are the same. despite doing a few encirclements, I'm still losing by a large margin. austin basically has no industry to speak of.

Sorry y'all, a mix of lost interest in HOI4 and college has rendered me forgetful of the mod, but if I can get some time with my computer and the original files I will make sure to update it and patch any bugs that may have arisn, sorry for the silence and thank you for pestering my steam notifs enough for me to see it's not working!

UoA gets an event from the first focus when they go down that path, they can either choose to be favorible or unfavorible to texas. If they pick favorible, texas has to meet every demand, and then they will integrate. If they pick unfavorible, it is impossible for them to be integrated, but they also can't secede unless you deny every demand

UoA has to hold a vote if the people want to join texas, if they vote against, then the best you can do is two-state solution.

Playing as Republic of Texas, the AI controlling the Unity of Austin. They went 'Now Is Not The Time', and asked me for a bunch of concessions. I agreed to all of them, but the 'Texas has given us everything we asked for' wasn't ticked in their focus. What did I miss?

It should work fine with the current version of Hoi4 and OWB, make sure you don't have any conflicting mods and that the mod is in your selected playset

So I tried playing this mod and there is nothing showing up. No names, no icons, no portraits, and no other faction names. Is there a specific version of HOI4 that i need or a specific version of OWB?

If you give yourself the event nf_keats.83, it should trigger the annexation properly
I can't find any errors in my iteration, do you have any other mods installed? Perhaps ones that affect texas?

Texas has to click the button on the event to annex you, if you're playing in a multiplayer game, it could take a bit, but the AI should automatically finish the event, switching you to texas and annexing austin

I'm having an issue where I don't join the Provisional government of Texas as UOA when I pick the focus to unify with Texas. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wait, because the focus stated UOA would cease to be a country and join Texas.

Finally finished my first Austin playthrough with your mod! The numerous challenges and events kept me playing much longer than I typically do just to see what was going to happen next.

Burned out of modding, and more than likely it'd require a separate submod to patch them together. You'll just have to choose until I, or someone else, makes a patch for it

I don't think so. If Austin has a mostly similar tree to Ironmongers and Shale it is vanilla, otherwise the mod is working. The focus tree will slowly reveal itself as you progress if the mod is working

Did this just get broken by the hotfix? It's installed but marked as being for an older version and I only see vanilla Unity when I launch the game. (I think. Never played Unity before.)

A lot of focuses add debuffs for what are already existing problems with the state, static problems should be a debuff by game start surely
