Bugged for me as in it messes with the build ingredient lists. EG: go to cook some bread and the ingredient list will be all on one line on top of itself, can't see at all what recipes require. Happens on anything that has an expanded ingredient list, what is required, what is consumed and what is made, all one line unreadable. I tested it to this mod doing that. Also I never had a stutter? Seems I don't even actually need this. Still love your authentic Z lite mod.

It would be helpful if you would add the authentic z as a dependency so the auto sorter automatically loads it after authentic z.

To anyone who has trouble getting this mod to work, it's going to more likely that not be a load order issue. The stutter fix needs to be loaded AFTER any authentic Z mods, and i would argue that it probably needs to be in the load order AFTER any mod that add's clothing items that can be ripped. I just spent 2 hours thismorning trying to figure out why this mod doesn't work, as i used the older version of it for AGES. Stumbled on a comment about the load order. Moved it to a different position (after AZ), and lo and behold, the mod works now. Excellent work as always AuthenticPeach.

Incompatible with what kind of mods? In what way? Not a very helpful description.

Works for me on my dedicated server. BUT I did have to make sure it was listed after the authentic z mod in the mod list before it started working.

Hey, just wanted to note that if you take the entire original function ( nothing to comment out/remove )

and put the line that says
table.insert(itemDataList, itemData)

inside of a check for whether the item is available like so:
if itemData.available then
table.insert(itemDataList, itemData)
end

You make the following sort completely unnecessary by doing so, and even with it running, the stutter is gone, and you'll only see the items you actually *have* in the tooltip, up to the "and x more" threshold.

TL;DR: only add *available* items to the list, and remove the sort that comes right after or make it whatever you like, you're dealing with a reasonable number of elements now either way.

I haven't tested standing on a mountain of clothing, but I could see further optimization being to limit the size of itemData list as jtgibson suggested below in addition to this fix, if it proves necessary at all.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Those 463 items still pop up for me and doesn't in turn fix the stutter.

@Authentic Peach: If you're interested in looking at this again, I tweaked this mod locally to restore the section of vanilla code it removes and instead simply conditionalise that block on "if #itemDataList < 30". That means it will only hide the tooltip info for recipes that have a very high compatible item count.

@RandomSithLord: That is literally not possible with this mod. Vanilla generates a list of possible ingredients for a recipe when you hover over it in the context menu, including loading the icons of the first ten items it can find. When users have a large list of mods installed (not specific to Authentic Z), Java might unload some of these textures, and so it can take a long time to process the operation. This mod removes that portion of the code. If you're experiencing additional lag, then you're either using a "bad" mod which negligently overwrites that same file/function (and reverts it to vanilla lag), or you're mistaking some other lag cause.

Sorry to comment here but the comments are disabled on the military uniform improvements mod page, and you and Shark both declined a friend request. Anytime I leave a server my M81 Woodland PASGT helmet with sun wind and dust goggles completely disappears from my inventory. It disappears if I'm wearing it, have it in my inventory, or if I leave it in a container. If it matters the server is rented and hosted by GTX Gaming. if you could please fix this issue that would be greatly appreciated since resetting character every time I play is debilitating.

Wondered what the cause was, super annoying when your trying to bandage yourself with a horde behind you.

Recipes ? but in description says it for the rip sheets/ craft sheet rope context menu, so i thought it won't appear for others recipes.

That's by design. It's how the context menu stutters when the 800+ clothing items show up when you have clothing mods.
This mod just removes the required items for the recipes in the context menu.

Found a weird bug
If you try to clean the bandage or dissemble items, it won't show the item you need to use like the hammer. but you can still see the item you will get after dissemble and others.

I managed to remove it, but it came back :(

Not sure if you want to go this route, but I made a change to my local version of your mod that I restored the section you deleted but instead added a check for "if (self.name ~= "Rip Clothing" and self.name ~= "Craft Sheet Rope")" on the "for k=1,source:getItems():size() do" loop. This should mean that it should still not populate the list for sheets but doesn't break any of the other context menus. (Made the change to mine because it was breaking Zamazon buying or selling context menus). But awesome work, thanks for doing this!
