Are there any plans to also do this for the inset cryopod?

Seconding the request for an upwards-opening small cryo.

Heck, if you just flip the engineer, you could also have a more bed-like pod a-la Aliens hypersleep pods.

This has now received an update to fix the issues of the doors opening when someone is inside already, like on loading in a pod.

Kinda like the comment below me, i would love to see npc crew in the cryopods so it actually does look like you have a crew but you just woke up earlier then everyone else.

Love these, but need a close/open button so it can be closed and unoccupied. I would also like to see an occupied/dummy version for decoration. I wonder if the Crew mod would occupy these.

Animated jump drive would be cool (I know it already exists, but using animation engine might make it better.)

Now someone should do the same thing for the bathroom, animate the door so it closes behind you and you can finally get some PRIVACY . 😂😏🤦‍♂️

If you're looking for more ideas, I know one block I think should have been animated was the ore detector. There's an animated antenna wood that makes the sg antenna rotate, but I think would be totally cool if the silver plates on the ore detector spun around while it was on.

Now why is this not in the base game already and vanilla?

I remember this being suggested in a mod that was released years ago, and it said you'd have to wait until Space Engineers 2! Dream has come true. It's incredible what modders are capable of.

personally i like using the small cryo gone large, i think itd be cool if there was a version that might work with that or if you were able to convert it yourself.
