Are there any sort of recommendations for altering the performance of the game to handle the huge multitude? Or is it that it will slow to a crawl always and super high numbers?

when you launch HH, click on the mods tab. enable Intrepid Anhinga and apply changes.

Is this supposed to show up in the mod list? It doesn't for me on Steam Deck, using Desktop Mode. There's something called Intrepid Anhinga, is that it?

I used custom scripting. at the start of the battle I set the variables leftcanfield and rightcanfield to 9999. if I wanted to do 10K then I would put

leftcanfield = 10000
rightcanfield = 10000

@Venomsplatter - hey man, 8gb of ram isnt exactly alot nowadays, and is probably why you crash when using a mod like this

i have an issue where the game crashes out the gate. i have a nvidia gtx 1660, with 8gb of ram.....but even still it crashes on launch if i have this mod:(

not from the mod itself. but having 900 billion units on screen at once will allow you to make pancakes on you computer.
