@Swanky - Wilbore is one of my favourite starting zones. I highly recommend you give it a go. Can't wait til B42 is stable enough for map mods to get updated :D

@Fragger @pk_GIZMO thanks for clearing that up... finally got around to testing it.
Great map actually! Good design, feels very in line with existing towns.

My only gripe is the amount of wreckages blocking all the way into the main highway, which is a bit much imho. Makes it hard to get into town, and there aren't THAT many good loot spots as a reward.
Zombie counts are high, so might be a tough starting position. Not a negative, though.

As an idea, maybe you could make versions of this map connecting to Sarah's Ellroy, which is bordering in the east, if you run both residential houses are just a few meters away from each other. A small road would fit in just above the long bend, for example. Would connect the area nicely.

Looks great and thinking about checking it out but I think it conflicts with Pineville, both maps change the area around the highway... Can anyone confirm?

Yeah the apartment complex in the middle of town. The spawn location itself isn't so bad, and I've spawned inside before now, but when one spawns on the roof, the door is almost always locked and there's no way down.

Easy fix would be to leave a sledgehammer up there XD

@Monkey Magic: Is it the top of the apartment building? I remembered having issues trying to get the spawns to work right, and I think I added a few extra ones that I meant to remove later. However, I unfortunately haven't worked on the map in nearly a year, but once I have the free time to do so, I'll add this to the list of things to check/fix.

Love the map, I pretty much use this place a my spawn most often - but I am not a fan of that one spawn-point that starts you on the roof of a building where the door is always locked, and there is no other way down..

Holy crap the traffic jam in and out of town... a fair warning to new players, LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE. You can only navigate the town on foot, the highway outside town and the main road in/out of town are completely blocked by car pile ups.

Conflicts with st pablo but doesn't have to. If it was moved slightly wast with a patch you could get it in there. Or even a patch that connects the two areas. probably to much to hope for though.

This mod will also conflict with Portland. The city itself is fine, but the road extends down to the highway (also there's a gas station here) Portland will cut off this road, over-writing the area: Portland covers cell 15x35.

I would stick with this mod over Portland by a mile though :D

哪条狗盗我号: The cars are meant to be abandoned vehicles during the initial panic that got clogged due to the military blockade and those trying to refuel at the gas station. By default, that's a goldmine of scrap metal and metal sheets for the taking. Modded, they're abandoned cars that can be looted (and I think scrapped just the same, but can't remember).

If I take another look at the map anytime soon, I'll probably remove a lot of the vehicle spawns south of the checkpoint but leave spawns at the gas station for lore's sake.

I've noticed a few errors in the last few months, but got burned out; plus some of the DMs I got after updating the map numerous times at once back in April added to it, lol. I'll try to open up the map sometime soon and fix some of the issues I found in other test runs.

@ssd: Thanks! Map is entirely fictional, basically made it up as I go. However, a couple of the houses in the map are based off the homes I either previously lived in or currently live in.

I don't know why, but I wanted to create a town that had a singular road in and out, so I did that.

Got to do a few short lived runs on this map, I really like it! All the unique buildings especially are a big plus. Like some other commenters though I wish it was in a different spot (even just a bit closer to rosewood down the highway) so that it didn't conflict with St Paulo's Hammer, another really good map; as being able to use that one and Wilbore would honestly help to make the Rosewood side of the map more interesting. I do understand it'd probably require atleast some work though - even if nothing changes, Wilbore KY is still a really nice map!

Cease Updating every 30 minutes. Many servers cannot even uninstall due to map overwrites on their saves crashing if they do. Do bi-daily or weekly updates. You will have the entirety of your multiplayer subscribers hating you furiously if you do not.:steamfacepalm:

Every single time you push an update, all servers using your mod must restart to allow players to connect to it. Just making you aware of this, as you seem unaware.

@BazBro: I haven't tried it myself, but you should be able to destroy them with a sledgehammer. Roofs were always pretty wonky in PZ, something I hope they fix someday.

Fantastic mod, I'm really enjoying everything, just turned the checkpoint into my base and I'm gonna clear the town. I tried to destroy the army tents outside the trailer at the checkpoint and now only the roof remains, is there any way to fix this or will I have to live with floating roofs lol

@Tesla_Magnum I think it works amazing with Raven Creek! No conflicts, and having a small town nearby to a big city is amazing and pretty realistic. From what I've heard, the only other map conflicts are in the description. According to someone else it removes a road from Blueberry but that's it so if you really want it should be fine to use both

It's all good! Your map is something super special, it's already amazing to me as it is. I think a good idea, is to perhaps make it look like more houses were being planned. Instead of adding more houses you could add some houses being under construction or make the dead ends look unfinished, that would be a nice look to the map to add even more realism to it. I also understand if you don't want the town to look like it was growing and instead keep it more stationary

@Doe: Thanks! As for the singular house, I was originally thinking of building another couple houses there, but I didn't want to take away anymore woodland space or make more residential buildings, wanting to keep it a bit more commercial given the nearby houses. The road next to it is meant to be kind of like a dead-end where people can turn their cars around or park if they're visiting the house.

But now that I think about it, it definitely seems a bit funny how that's the only house in that entire commercial area besides the houses to the east. I might bridge the gap a little by adding another couple houses between that one and the elementary school.

I've definitely been planning to come back and polish the map a little further, but real life has been keeping me from having any energy to do what I'd like to do. I've got a bit of time these next few days, so maybe I'll push out a little addition here or there!
