ohh sorry i didnt read your first comment through fully. mcc does that for some reason so you need to replace ”FMS_MainMenu_v2.bk2” from the ”Movies” folder with the menu you want to use and pick ”Evergreen” (default mcc menu choice) for Main Menu Background in the settings.

ive replaced the 343 intro before but it never effected the start screen, i guess yours just does? thanks either way for this mod

how did you change the main main menu screen? like before you even have options to play campaign or multiplayer. even when i change my main menu video the stock mcc video plays for the "press x to start" screen

Music was working for months, but recently stopped for some reason. The intro plays with the audio and music, but the actual menu doesnt anymore.

Seriously man, thank you for this. I had so much fun playing splitscreen Halo 3 with my friends and my brother many many moons ago, this brings back a lot of those memories whenever I boot up the game now

you can delete the original or rename it but the video to be played at startup needs to be named FMS_logo_microsoft_7_1_.bk2

now available without the halo 3 logo. this version is also now upscaled to 60fps

When you are able to skip the intro depends on how fast your HDD/SSD can load the game since the intro is there to mask the loading screen. And that's the reason you can't skip the intro on an original Xbox One, and not even on an Xbox One S.

i understand, i will do one without the halo 3 logo tomorrow. but the length of the video is not a problem of you can skip the intro in like 3 seconds anyway lol

I seriously believe that without the logo at the beginning, this would be the perfect replacement for the default intro video.

I've got to concur with Vanilla's second comment. It would be truly awesome if you could upload a version of this mod without the Halo 3 logo. Because while I love Halo 3, the MCC consists of more than just H3, and the logo's inclusion (as Vanilla said) makes the video about 5 seconds longer.

Or removing the part of the Halo 3 logo entirely would be so much better now that I tested and noticed that the Halo 3 logo lasts so long that it makes the video so much longer, to the point where you can skip the intro during the Microsoft logo and before you have a chance of even seeing the Bungie logo lol

Odd request, but could you switch the Halo 3 logo from the intro to be more of a generic Halo logo so that it fits the MCC vibes better? You know, as to be more about Halo as a whole rather than just Halo 3.

YEEEESSSSS!!!!!! NO MORE 343 INTRO!!! They deserve NO credit for Bungie's amazing work which carries this entire collection. Halo 4 and all of 343's other games are just stains on Halo's now tarnished name. Glad to see a proper intro when I start up my game now, free of corruption.
