I suppose that also means the mods won't work with EaW, since that mods has an offshoot of the RT56 tech tree. Unfortunate, but sometimes things just don't work out.

@PAIMON I would love to make it compatible with rt56, however with the current version of the mod that isn't really possible. rt56's military and tech tree is just too different for it to work properly. I do want to make a standalone mod someday though.

except there is 1 problem with this mod(or other 2 Simple mod), it seems it doesn't compatible The Road To 56 anymore...I tried to load 56 with these simple mods, and always resulting a crash before the game done loading...
so can you make these mods be compatible with 56?

you should consider (idk how you will do it) making a version of the 3 mods that are compatible with expert ai

might not be compatible with the tank icons of this version of the mod though. if that is the case there'll be nothing I can do to make it compatible.

Hey, thanks for making this mod in the first place. Half the reason I'm getting NSB is to get the Infantry Equipment Designer mod, so not having to deal with the new tank system on top of that is appreciated :)

I respect the effort you put into this especially the updates very hard to find lately.

The equipment designers have overcomplicated the game and were all implemented poorly, increasing equipment cost, research time, and reducing stats. These mods aren't a perfect fix, but at least they are a fix.

@Kludde Thank you for showing me that mod, I did not know it existed and I was able to peek inside it to find out how to get some of the icons to show up properly.

I had thought about switching the systems out completely but ultimately I don't hink that will solve any of my issues and it allows for the fexibility to design some tanks yourself but still use pre-built variants elsewhere.

I found that when I use your tenk version & Lamp Equip mod together I do get the correct tenk icons back (in the research tree at least)

Thanks for this mod!! To bad about the missing icons... Have you thought about just choosing 1 system instean of combing the old & new techtree? I love each new DLC but the whole designer thing is just really tedious... Maybe if Paardox just included the 1 historical tank/plane per model then you could at least ignor it...

yep, I know. and I've tried to fix it but I for the life of me can't figure out how.

I tried to use this but some graphics are missing. Example the soft artillery explosion circle icon may appear but no tank icon.

yes you can, no restrictions have been placed on the normal designer.
