Currently iffy on the More Smokes mod due to a file distribution and modification notice. Creator it MIA so unless somebody can get in contact with him, don't expect the mod to be available on release.

My original save where I started testing will sadly have to forgo tea and coffee being grown it looks like since disabling UFP mid-save seems to be part of the cause of the other issues that cropped up (crops not advancing growth stages, sunflowers from more common seed types spamming errors/having a blank info box), but as I commented on Farming Time, if anyone wants to grow coffee/tea with it, it SEEMS like you can make SFFT, MCST, jigga's and Crops Never Rot play nicely together without UFP if you start a fresh save with just those four and put Crops Never Rot at the bottom of your load order. If you enable UFP for a save, don't disable it (or turn it back on if you do) because you'll be trading no coffee/tea planting from SFFT for a host of other issues that UFP prevents if you disable it mid-save with those other mods listed. :)

@pwrcosmic I figured it was still being worked on as per the description but wanted to report on possible solutions in the meantime for anyone using it and the associated mods :) I appreciate your hard work on helping mods play nice together and I can't wait for the new version! As someone that fields hundreds of mods in every playthrough, stuff like UFP always makes my life a lot easier ♥ Honestly, the fact that even with it being abandoned, the only issue I've been able to find with it on being Farming Time's tea and coffee not working just speaks volumes to all the effort you put in back when this version was supported!

@Lou Tenant Just know that this version of the mod is considered abandoned and that a newer version is currently in the works that should (hopefully) be significantly more versatile and stable. I do appreciate you reporting on these issues for those that continue to use this mod, though. Thank you!

Still cataloging my debugging/testing with farming mods, mainly over in the comments for Soul Filcher's Farming Time due to it originating with trying to debug coffee/tea seeds and the interaction with this mod that I commented about below. Disabling this mod made corn from Farming Time unable to advance to the next growth stage and made sunflowers from "more common seed types" spam errors and show their info panel as just a small white box with no text, until I disabled "Crops Never Rot", so if you run into either of those errors after disabling Ultimate Farming Patch, Crops Never Rot might be the culprit on that front. If I can get everything to play nicely together, I'll most likely leave the comment/solution in Farming Time's comments since it's the most popular out of the mods I'm testing together!

If you're having issues being unable to plant coffee and tea tree seeds with Soul Filcher's Farming Time, I did some testing/process of elimination with my farming mods and found out that this was the culprit. Disabling this on a fresh save with all of my mods enabled (was able to plant them w/ just SFFT enabled) allowed me to plant them again, so if anyone else is having problems with similar, disabling this should allow you to plant them again!

There is still interest in this mod, you should check sapph's farming mod, can't plant crops.

If you can add compatibility for Irrigation pipes for farming and water supply mod I'll sing your praises! Might be hard though...

+1 for compatibility with More Smokes mod, that mod adds 4 crops/seeds but doesn't change anything else otherwise.

I am curious about the load order config, how should we set that up? Which side is priority, and which mods should overwrite others in order to work? That feels a little unclear.

just curious when the new version of this mod is due to come out as mentioned is some older responses? there is a couple of inconsistency's and things that just don't work anymore would be nice to have this stated in the mod description as its not working as intended

Thanks for the mod, there is a conflict with the K farming system mod though, cant sow any of the seeds in the mod with this patch. It's one of the only mods here that allows farming rice

Commissioned or otherwise, really wanting to run Le Gourmet Revolution, Soulfilcher's Farming Time, and More Smokes together and sadly lack the knowledge to do this myself.

Farming time requires you to read the instructions on a seed pack to plant, does this mod fix you cant sow the other seeds due to no ability to read the instructions cuz its a dif mod?

I'm having minor issues with your fabulous mod, the corn never shows growing plants and some trees disappear after harvesting, which I suspect is causing desync issues, but I'm not 100% sure.

A recap of what's like to happen to this mod - this particular version (on release of the new version) will be marked as Legacy and will be up just for those that are still running saves with this mod. Newer users will be encouraged to move over to a new version of the mod on a new save. Progress has been steady, and I already have the previous seed-combining mechanics present, as well as an improved loading system that ensures the mods needs to be updated minimally (unless new crops with specific properties are added). I cannot guarantee that the new version will AT ALL be safe on current saves, old crops are likely to be eliminated due to more internal changes of how plants are handled, so new saves are highly encouraged. I will be trying to get UFP REDUX out as soon as possible without destroying myself in the process. LGR support is still pending in the new version, and that may take time.

Seems to make tea plants unsowable, and in an experiment to try and get around this by removing UFP from a save, planting Tea plants, then readding UFP, the Tea plants register as 'Mystery Plant'

@sondz I have a complete rewrite in the works at the moment, no telling when it'll be out since it's a little over the top. Community patches are the main goal, though, as well as improved compatibility and longevity. More Smokes would likely have a sub-mod created for it seeing as its evidently popular.

Update for compatibilty with more smokes and grow medicinal herbs would be very much appreciated, or just open sourcing the mod on github for others to take a crack at it.

if possible it'd be great if you could make more smokes work, given my incredible need for weed.

@pwrcosmic yes definitely. everything around farming is such a mess with the various mods, and vanilla farming is just so lacklustre. a "fix" mod that brings the content mods into alignment with each other is certainly useful, and you're clearly already in the lead in that regard. name someone who's better for the job than pwrcosmic.

Sorry for the holdup everyone, I've been burnt out on Zomboid for a bit now after playing it nonstop for a couple weeks. If there's still continued interest in a rewrite of the mod, please let me know in the comments here.

echoing the issue with Coffee Farming Time - the coffee trees are the only seedlings to grow - everything else stays in Phase 1. After removing Coffee mod plants resume normal life. Errors in the server log support this observation.

This mod breaks Sprout's Farm and Garden for me. You can't plant any seeds. Love the idea of this mod though.

Sounds fantastic, as far as I'm concerned

This mod may undergo a rewrite sometime. Not sure when since I've still got stuff to work on- but it should be able to heavily reduce mod size while actually increasing compatibility and permit more community patches without heavy interference. The mod will be significantly less "plug & play" unfortunately and will require the use of sub-mods in a specific mod load order, but otherwise it will function better and with less data requirements than current. (Also, hopefully, less updates, as the main mod would simply act as a loader and other mods can retrieve the necessary data.)

Here to add to the More Smokes demand, hate choosing between being a stoner or having adequate farming resources xD. Either way Cheers and great mod.
