It says literally right there in the mod description (if you bothered to read it) that they'll do things WITH you. They're not as good as specialized shadows.
Also, do you know what a mirror is? If you do, then you know what this spell does. If you want a worker, summon one rather than a mirror.
You can still play with both mods but you will need to disable Maxwell's configurations options in Uncompromising Mode
Regarding their health, it's the aspect I would like to keep. If they were immortal then there wouldn't be any reason to worry and they would just look like stat buffs. At that point, why not play Wolfgang instead?
They're not as good as other shadows yes, but they also save on your codex Umbra durability due to the fact you can reuse them for various things. ( I do understand that refueling Codex Umbra is really cheap and that doesn't make them all that better but I do not want them to be too strong)
I will, however make their attack speed match Maxwell's and I'm considering adding an option to change their damage to be either Depend on Maxwell's damage or remain consistent.
Explanation of changes: Although the existing mirror shadow has no time limit, it is not as good as the original ordinary shadow in terms of work efficiency or fighting, and the use effect is not as good as expected. This revision can encourage Lao Mai to fight and work by himself, not as a summoner, but as a battlemage!
- The Mirrors having the same silhouette style like the Servants/Duelists have with cosmetics.
9) Spawn timer on the Mirrors. 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, or permanent would be good four choices.
10) Enabling or disabling having enemies prioritize Maxwell like with the new mechanic Shadow Duelists have.
11) Enabling or disabling the new shadow summon animation, like when Servants/Duelists are spawning. Though, that jump animation is actually kinda cool.
12) Same thing as 11 but when despawning/dismissed.
13) Enabling or disabling the Mirrors phasing out when hit like with regular shadow creatures or the current Shadow Duelists. There is a stun locking issue with them.
14) Optional: Changing the Mirrors attack frequency. With Duelists now, they attack ~1 second if you are attacking and around ~2 seconds if not. Mirrors attack every ~0.5 seconds. The option to switch over to how Duelists work would make things more balanced.
1) Having the default 7.5 HP drop per summon or no health penalty at all.
2) Setting maximum sanity usage per Shadow Mirror. Looks like 24-26% as it is? 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, or 35 would be good six choices.
3) The health of the puppets. 75 or 150 being the two choices.
4) The base damage of the puppets. 10, 15, 20, 30, or 40 being the five choices.
5) Enabling or disabling shadow scaling damage mechanic to increase their base damage. If enabled, have them mimic the Shadow Duelists.
6) Enabling or disabling the damage cap like on Shadow Duelists to avoid being one-shot by bosses and/or with AoE. The damage cap is 15.
7) Keeping or disabling the health regeneration of Shadow Mirrors.
8) Enabling or disabling the shadow lunges the new shadow Duelists make.
You can get rid of them by force attacking them like other shadow clones (holding ctrl and then clicking on them)
Regarding working - your shadows will continuosly work on the same tree/rock if you begin chopping/mining and stay really close to them, they'll abandon working on it if they're not close enough to you. So if you "fake mine/chop" you shouldn't move too far.
Also I'm sorry but I currently have no plans on making another Maxwell mod.
but...
1-shadow gear make diference on the damage of those Mirror Shadows?
2- is intended that you cant "fake mine" and then cant continue mining even if you dont move after cancel?, sometimes one do one hit
3- what is the damage on them?
4( THIS ONE IS NOT ABOUT THE MOD) it is possible for you to make an mod that reverts back the maximum damage of 60 of the shadow duellists? ( with any equipment) or making them as tanky as they were once on beta?
