They are mobile artillery. Not meant to be as resilient as the steam tank.
Roughly analogous to chariots.

Personally confused, are these supposed to be faster mobile versions of the cannons or are they supposed to be corollaries to the empires steam tanks?

Maybe it's better to make Belegar's skills improve the juggernaut bolt throwers too, for consistency sake.

Yes. They made that change a while back, but the unit cards shown pull from what is effected directly.

Somehow I have to do un-sub & re-sub to force the steam re-download the mod to make it works. Now the technologies works fine with both Juggernaut and Earth Borer Units. It looks like once you binding Unit keys with Tech keys properly, the technology tree will automatically include New Unit Card Icon.

Got it fixed and updated!
Turns out they used unit sets based on unit class instead of the usual method for them. Since the juggernauts are classified as chariots, they missed out on automatically working. But they have manually been put into those unit sets now!

It is very possible these got left behind when they did the big technology rework for the dwarfs and I missed it!

@greenphoenix23 It looks like Dwarf Artillery Technologies are still not affect these Created Units (Large Scale Shell Production, Field Engineer, Artillery Entrenchment) in Campaign. The stats of new units didn't changed (no green extended bar for the supposed affected status) after finishing research.

From my personal experience of modding in TWWH, you need to take a look at "unit_set_to_unit_junctions_tables" and link each of relative Dwarf Technologies (under "Unit Set" column) to your created unit key "(under "Unit Record" column). Hope it will help.

Did you add the mod mid-save, or did you have this enabled from the beginning?
The script to add RoR to the pool runs at the beginning of a campaign.
If it was on from the beginning I can look into it to make sure nothing funky is happening in this mod.

Unfortunately, either way that will need a new campaign start to resolve.

The mod is already updated. You might need to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to force it to download the update. Sometimes Steam can be a bit stubborn about it.

This mod should be updated to not crash any more and to fit in with Malakai!

I fully intend to do a much bigger revisit to the Juggernauts later, but for now they are functional in game!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I thought the model was cool enough to bring it to life in game.

I will be updating and fully integrating all my new units with technologies, skills, and mechanics once the DLC comes out. These units will be getting a bit of a touch up as well as there are some new animations I can use from the Thunderbarge.

I found another Juggernaut Tank model 3 years ago on Workshop but I really don't like the 3D model based on Dwarf Siege Engine thus I decide to make my own which is based on Tabletop version from Game Shop. However I encountered numerous technical challenges such as re-texture & re-binding the bone (animation). Eventually I give up the project with un-textured 3D model. I'm so excited to see someone else has the similar idea and able to make it works. You realised my mod dream and your effort is more than enough to earned my reward of "Clever Golden Medal"! Yes! The AI should be able to make them. They also count as bolt throwers / cannons as appropriate for effects boosting those units.

I was not aware of that thread, but that is a fun coincidence!
As for the axle and wheels, I might take another pass at this model at some point to add some polish. I've improved a lot on animation work since working on this project!

You have a front axel, but the original model didn't have that. Do plan to make the front wheels pivot like the original model?

Might be interesting to have the wheels turn as the vehicle does. Not immensely important but worth a mention.

Hello it's me again lol, and I have come for an odd request, you have done such wonderful things for the dawi, and I love each of your mods you release, but since you're the only modder I have ever gotten any form or reply to I don't know who else to ask, could you make a Thanquol and Boneripper model? I feel like they should have made him already, I know he is Skaven and not a dwarf, but think, a new enemy to test your weapons on :O lmao

It got named that for a couple of reasons. I intended from the start to slowly build towards an overhaul for the dwarfs and my mods so far have been slowly working towards that goal. Wanted something a bit more catchy than: Dwarf Overhaul.

As for the specific name, it kind of came to me on a whim as I was digging through old dwarf stuff that hadn't yet been put in the game. Felt a bit like looking through an old lost and found box so I just went with that.
