imagine if pawns could get the lightning birthmark by being near a lightning strike or taking significant electric damage in one hit

Yea really needs to be updated/fixed somehow having issues with this and another mod where it fucks with both non animated modded faces and facial animations.

Not really compatible with NL facial animations, the opacity of all of these have parts of the vanilla faces inside them.

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.6 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

it would be even better to be able to assign how often this should spawn per faction or race… maybe do you know a mod that does that? also, it would be great is the chance of spawning such birthmarks could be bound to some gene.

is it possible to change how often some looks spawn? btw, it seems to work okay in 1.6, haven't seen an error connected with it anyhow.

Hey! I noticed there's a big issue with this mod when it comes to Hussars and other colored-eyed pawns. The textures are messed up when the blemish is over the left eye, overlaying over the colored eye. Hopefully theres a fix for this in the universe?

roo why do the pawn faces in the previews look like that, is it a mod or a custom thing you designed to showcase your work? i would love to play it, im sick of those overly anime face texture replacements

I would ask everyone check that they don't have mods that alter body size, as I had issues with tattoos not overlaying properly because I had body size variety enabled with Character Editor. AFAICT, all these were made with only the vanilla body shape in mind.

also some full body scars, like the lighting scars, will have black around the edges of the texture

Testing without any mods, and still experiencing an issue where some of the textures are too small for some body shapes :/

Thank you this gives pawns lots of character. Some full body textures dont quite match thier body silhouettes (they are to small) but I need more testing to make sure its not a wierd conflict.

hey, i've been using this with Nals's Facial Animation mod, paired with Oracle of Thessia's Vanilla Textures Expanded facial animation retexture, and i've noticed that the birthmarks and blemishes from this mod have had an issue where they are layered over the facial features, making the eyes and mouths slightly skin-tinted. This isn't a massive issue, but it's been bugging me. Any possibility we could get a patch for this or something?
If not, i don't mind, i just figured it might be helpful to lay this out here.

Some of the Full-body marks like Vitiligo, Lightningscars and other don't seem to fit some of the body textures they're supposed to go onto. I am using vanilla body textures and the tattoos are sometimes too small for them, so they're left with a big black border line in the middle of the map or so.
This is very similar to the Narrowhead issue stated above.

I really like the mod, so I hope a solution for it can be found.

What is the difference between baseWeight and weightFactor? 90% of the pawns are spawning with some blesmish or birthmark.

Just a heads up, I don't believe you can actually disable any of these using Cherry Picker, since it's not listed as a category on that mod's page at the moment.

@Starempire42 This is vanilla behaviour, as standard tattoos don't appear over furskin either. I guess it makes sense since the pawn is covered in fur.

For some reason you can't see Any of The Head and body Birthmarks and blemishes when they have the furskin Gene is this a feature or a Bug?

This needs a gene that sets a race to always have blemishes or never have blemishes.

It seems the layering breaks with the vanilla retexture of Facial Animation, which is a shame. It looks like the face tattoos are drawn on top of the eyes and such. Pretty sure this is something either NL or the Vanilla Expanded teams have to fix though, if it even is possible to fix.

I encountered the glitch with vitiligo with vanilla 'narrow heads', and can't figure out an explaination as to why it happens. 🤔 You can use the 'Cherry Picker' mod to remove these blemishes if you like, but I'll look into it in the next update! 🕵️‍♂️
