@Anrhaa as someone who plays with female hivers I would love that.

I have a small request. Could you add the right entries to all the female hiver masks? That way the masks would load when using them with modded females hivers.

I added full compatibility for all Mask with a lot of race mods. All modded human, shek and hivers races can use them now.

If you cannot equip the mask, it is likely that the mask you have is for a race different than the race of your character. Note that modded races might not be able to wear any of the masks (a new human type can't wear it, only greenlanders and scorchlanders, for instance).

If you equipped the mask but it doesn't show up, try unequipping a different piece of armor and re-equipping it. The act of equipping the mask itself does not update the visual appearance of a character.

You can make your own patch pretty easily using FCS (Forgotten Construction Set) just like how you would with animation mods. Just in case anyone reading this doesn't already know,

Find the workshop mod in your pc. For this mod its at steamapps\workshop\content\233860\2887053630. Make a copy of it to any place you can manage(for ex in desktop). Change the file name to mod name(ex: Billyro Masks) and put it in your kenshi mods folder.
Open FCS and press add new mod, name it something like mask jrpg patch. Make sure the mod you just made has Active written on it and is checked. And check only the mask mod and race mod in the above and click confirm.
Now instead of going to race-> custom race -> add animation, you go to items-> armor-> black/leather/white mask (human) and in race option add both greenlander jrpg and scorchlander jrpg for ex) to all three of them, save and exit
Open kenshi and make sure your new patch mod is lower than the other 2.

I like the look of the masks but dislike the fact they have any armor value. If this isn't too much to ask, a version that makes all of these masks unarmored would be good.

Will NPCs be wearing these as well?

After extensive use, I think this mod is essential. While face clipping is an issue, it's not a big deal. I think you could make this even better if you include different textures (alternatives to the tightly stitched look), like a black cloth similar to Ninja Rags without the white borders, maybe a red face mask... The possibilities are pretty endless. Checkerboard pattern masks... Masks similar to the military masks that have a white face on it - you've seen those, yeah? I'm imagining a black mask with a light gray lower front/jaw/nose cavity of a skull. A demon version. Hey, whatever you'd like to do.

@Billyro No i am not using a custom race, the only mods i use are quality of life mods (ex: animals don't need food, gas masks for drones, drone buff (maybe this causes it???) as well as some other mods like x2 exp gain in all stats, x2 bed healing speed, etc.

Ah yep, that's what I forgot. I've updated the mod to fix that. Also allowed Deadhive Soldiers to use it.

@Billyro Yeah, I've researched it before the update but I've imported the save recently and it still doesn't show up. I unsubbed and resubbed to refresh it in case it didn't update but upon checking it in FCS, both the clothing and leather bench doesn't seem to have the entry for Soldier mask, strange.
