For anyone trying to use this still, don't. Soul Filcher's Farming Time updated to include coffee beans so this is redundant now

This mod is unusable for me, since it was the sole reason my crops stopped growing. There is a link to the stack trace on the Ultimate Farming Patch. Looking forward to a quick hotfix / maybe B42 ?

Have you experienced an associated bug ?

Thank you for the "upperLayerHarvest copy paste" typo.
There is no associated bug for coffee but it probably breaks other SFFarming plants disease system. I'll correct it in the next update.

@Kyrous Last time I checked, Hydrocraft was considered as deprecated (not maintained) for B41 main.
Anyway I confirm I never tried them both in a same game.

Looks like there's a bug in "FarmingCoffee_func_coffee.lua", line 6
require "SFFarm_FarmingSystem"
should be instead
require "Farming/SFFarm_FarmingSystem"

Also, way down around line 195, you're re-using the local variable upperLayerHarvest when you probably (?) should be using a new variable like upperLayerDiseaseThis. By re-using the variable you're ending up with a table instead of a closure in the local code, which doesn't have a __call metatable.

I am having a huge issue with this mod and maybe hydrocraft? I cannot sow the seeds as they do not show up in the sow crop menu

@huflungpu coffee trees persist after harvest and are immune to crops diseases.

Does the tree stay after harvest, or will I have to replant after each harvest? Also, how are diseases handled, specifically if the tree is persistent after harvesting will it just have devils water fungi indefinitely?

Wrong word, I meant that if I am nitpicking if I were to point out that coffee only grows in an area proximative of the equator.

Otherwise your comment give me another perspective of this mod.

I do not know what poignant means but you would be right to say that it is not efficient to do so. It is not impossible. You need steady high temperature, water, no wind and not too much sun. This is pretty easy indoor wherever you like if you do not look for intensive cultures.

@Ok G you can deactivate the month restriction from sandbox options. To change those on an existing save I recommend this mod . Other sandbox changing options mod exists that may do the job.

Can I change harvest time (Not only May or Nov, like other crops) and reduce growth time of trees?
or use it in conjunction with other mods(maybe agricultural)?

@Infernus with the other (xnertot based), sowed coffee trees seem to grow normally and are harvestable until you reboot the server (or maybe just the client not sure anymore) and then they become a simple sprite that is not handled anymore (cannot be removed, cannot grow, cannot be harvested).

The other version of the mod used to not be MP compatible according to yourself, but now the description says it works in MP, while this one doesn't mention it either way, that's why I'm asking. You never mentioned what exactly the multiple incompatibilities with MP you found were in the first place, so I can't really guess what list of things I'm supposed to try and look for.

@counselor_AJ I just tested solo game with irrigation pipe, soulfilcher farming time and this mod and it works well: i.e. the watering level remains at 100 once connected to a water source.

Version 1.1 is out.
It the same, just without the hard dependency to Farming Time so you can use Awesome Time instead.
