Got a duplicated error,take me a while find this mod.
Shouldn't change the name,that would be easy to find this unofficial mod.

Hi, this mod should not be used anymore, please use the original VouLT's Better Pawn Control and if you have issues you can report it there, I also take a look there and help VouLT update, but I need logs to see what's going on. You can paste logs into pastebin and provide a link there.

This is currently breaking Fluffy's work tab so I'm running without for now. Fluffy's Work tab has sub jobs within the job designation, and this mod resets all of those.

Hopefully it's something that can be sorted; thank you for your work.

so yea, outfits are not saving in the Assign tab when I switch between emergency/default.

Figure you guys are probably looking into it already or the original author is etc. It's the main reason I use this mod. Thanks!

Can confirm I had the same work menu bug as @=(e)= Lemonater47

The issues stopped when I removed this mod and all leftovers, but it could be because I play with many mods in general. Not sure.

its not the perfect solution for the reasons i named. Heck , if you change stuff now different than voult does it even could break entire saves when people return.

Keeping the same Id is the perfect option since he's planning to update, I simply remove this mod and voult updates, done.

Voult is working on it , i warned you keeping the same id :) many other modders needed to make this experience and needed to swap later the ID.
Also this isnt just for this reason but also compatibility Rimworld expects Mod X and in the save but if mod X is Actually mod Y the save can easily break when X and Y isnt 100% identical like the case is here.

I'll need to think about the cost/benefit of changing the ID, the game at least on my PC thinks it's a brand new mod and starts uninitialized. I also can't test how workshop would handle it because there is no way to roll out "optional" mod updates or anything like that. Either everyone gets an update or noone. And I can't reliably test on my PC because I'm not subbed to the mod - i have it in the game folder.

Yep I had to wipe the thing from the rimworld files. Unsubbing wasn't enough. Was for whatever reason using the old one. Even though in the mod list it says it was up to date and the steam link linked to here.

It might be causing other issues. Reloading a save where it was working before after restarting the game now breaks the work tab. It doesn't close and forces you to close the game to be able to do anything. Log says it's this mod.

Hopefully it just accidentally loaded the old version or something even though it says it's the new version.

Changing the package ID at this point would disable this mod and enable the old one which is incompatible and that would confuse over 3000 people for no reason at all so I'm not gonna do it unless it presents some other issues. If you're getting a "tried loading mod multiple times" just unsubscribe from the old mod.

No , simply having both installed , iam loading actually neither atm , the game gets mad because both have the same ID and show up in the list as mods , doesnt matter if loaded or non loaded.

Needs a different Package ID to solve this error.
Tried loading mod with the same packageId multiple times: VouLT.BetterPawnControl. Ignoring the duplicates.

@boomrng I tried the .dll and I can no longer make the error appear by loading into the save and spamming 5, so this seems to have fixed it. Thank you for the quick fix! I'll let you know if this version has any new bugs that pop up.

it seems that the game is now updating pawn state more often than before "down the hood" when the mod calls some internal functions that wasn't the case in 1.3
It should be a simple fix, i thought it's problematic only in one line but apparently some more are affected (that didn't show up in my tests).

Okay, after unsubscribing and resubscribing, then jumping in my save and clicking the Emergency button a couple of times, I get this error: https://gist.github.com/0ff62e4096c76833ca19189fabe92e78

When loading into a Dev Quicktest I get no error, so this might be a case of my save being broken, but I am unsure.

@nchorbajian sure, I did a full verify files on Steam after the latest update and before this error occurred but you never know how incompetent Steam can be lol. I will report back if I get the error again after manually unsub/resubbing

This has apparently broken Emergency mode (I will try to relaunch the game and see if it gets fixed), it does not change my Active Schedule policy when turning on/off Emergency Mode
