it doesnt acctualy replace the models even if you restart your game it will be the half life 2 models

before you export SMDs, try to apply Weighted Normals modifier, play with variables and apply it, then export.

I noticed those things in blender as well...just that everytime after I exported the models, flexes "acted up" (I honestly don't know how to explain it...but it wasn't a thing nice to see...). Anyway, I'll try in the future to do something

there are a lot of normal direction issues that are visibly spotted around the shirt collar. they could use extra work on refining the edges.
