The mod actualy work perfectly fine and is still a great and fun mod, Thanks.
And If I wrote this message it's because I just found the dagger in a new game and want to refresh my memory about how it work... And realise someone claiming it's a broken mod, who is false.
@Bessa When you say a mod is broken, please, consider your words better because many players will trust what you said without thinking muche more than 5s.
And this mod doesn't deserve this.
The Mod Maker who did this Mod, and many of the mods he mad for DST don't deserve this treatement.
If your game crash or anything, then the first think to do is to look at your log (tips, use the "Better Crash Screen" mod, it will help you) and look at the end of the log to find why the game closed, crash, lost connection, etc.
Just search for the famous: "LUA ERROR stack traceback" and you will have some clue of what happen.
And then, if you want, you can copy past the log, or the LUA Error section here or in a news discution...
Could you send me the server_log and client_log of the save file in which such crash occurs? You can send it me on Discord: Sümi#3084
Thanks!
During my playtests, I used the c_gonext("everdagger") to teleport myself to the dagger. The second dagger's name is "everdagger2", after the fifth one each of them called "everdagger5".
I CAN’T FIND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good point, though, I always thought about the item's scaling as a passive thing, not something you actively search for.
I'm thinking about adding more modded items in the future that leans towards a more nomadic playstyle, I feel like it's an unexplored idea in the game currently.
I'm not sure if I can surely say that I'll add some type of compass to the dagger, but I'll think about it for sure.
I really like this concept and it's executed well.
The damage cap is set to 555 by default, but you can increase or decrease it in the configuration settings.
It should work just fine in new and pre-created worlds :)
