Beautiful map! I edit this and create minimalist version for smaller cities, but really loved.

@MOREOPTIONS This is a Vanilla map, and being a condescending jerk to the guy who made the map really only looks bad on you. Vanilla in cities is considered a map that has no required asset downloads or "one click" collections. Most DLC content when released gives some degree of updates for everyone. Perhaps you should adopt some manners and try making your points again without the insults and stupidity.

@MOREOPTIONS I appreciate your feedback. It seems there's quite a controversy amongst players about the proper definition of vanilla. Curious if you play without any DLC?

@LORDPrometheus I'm sorry to hear that, it sounds like a mod issue. I would recommend un-subbing/re-subbing to your mods and themes and see if that fixes this issue. It's not a map issue.

for some reason the game is not letting me select the recommended themes for the map. They are all loaded but its not letting me use them at all

Boreal theme
Mass Transit DLC required = to DLC as in Chocolate making the map NOT Vanilla. Do you like Vanilla Ice cream? perhaps you do! Adding flavorings, such as chocolate or straw-bury is like adding a DLC to some map! Than adding MOD's would be like a topping or sprinkles.. YES! Thus this map is NOT VANILLA as your Deets express! Nice map by the way.. Might like to edit your DEETS!!!

@kimmie109 you should be able to reach a bit of oil in 9 tiles on the far side close to the little lake and creek. Most of my own city's oil field is within the 9 tile area despite the fact I use the 81 tiles mod (and def recommend it).

When playing only 9 tiles, oil is out of reach or?

@SERENE glad you like it! I've currently got a large metropolis on the map myself and I've enjoyed building on each of those areas as you describe. It's def a very buildable map, if I do sam so myself!

wow man, i scrolled and scrolled looking for something kinda like i wanted and then i found literally exactly what i wanted, a bay=port like seattle but with a section like manhattan betwen 2 rivers, beacuse ive been playing Riverlands , but the map isnt to my liking but i joke the water ways

Hey y'all. I'll be updating this map a bit after receiving feedback from Bon Bon B and several others, so look for an update in the next week or two! Nothing major, just minor tweaks of the trees on the shorelines, some of the bridge work and lane mathematics, and shipping routes.

@Bril I'm not sure why that would happen. Perhaps unsubscribe and subscribe again to both map and theme. If you have environment changer you can change it manually but it should work as-is.

Odd I have the map them installed and active but when I try to run the map it still tells me the map theme is missing.

@ShadowITD looks good! I'm not sure it works for an interstate as it breaks up the flow of what is the primary highway on the map with the hard-stop turns, but it's def an interesting layout for an inner city design that I may have to use in the future! Nice work. :)

I had a go at changing the interchange. Its a bit smaller but it is now also a 5 way. Not the most aesthetic but a bit more usable.

@ShadowITD thanks! Yes, it's quite a large intersection, hard to make four-ways not be too large without tunnels. You can always free to replace the intersection with your own! I appreciate the feedback though. I'm trying to get better at building intersections. :)

Make sure it's activated in your game before loading a new game. You are also free to use any theme of your choice as it's not required.

This map is the map I was looking for years! EXP: Valleys away from the city to put small towns in; From Mining towns to farm lands this is great!
