another thing is that the difficulty should be a little more consistent, and Plantera is relatively easy compared to the nightmare fuel that is The Twins

My main criticism about the mod is the sprites and attack indicators. I understand using sprites already present in the game, but the low-resolution sprites look very strange when compared to the well-polished fights, such as the lasers of the mechanical bosses, WoF projectiles, and the Queen Slime and King Slime, as well as the indicators that could have more visual relevance to the attack they are indicating, such as the queen bee attack, which is just bees but uses an indicator that looks like a laser. The same goes for EoC and so on.

maybe its my modlist, but the Eater of Worlds fight is quite laggy, my FPS go from 60 to around the 40's when he appears on screen, didnt use to do that in the previous version.

it takes a mod to make the twins things out of your night terrors? thats interesting they are the deadliest mechanical boss by far and are responsible for tons of deaths per playthrough even in vanilla.

but any rework mod exists to make already difficult bosses more difficult (and flashy) the twins are not exempt from that so by nature any mod that touches them is going to turn them into nightmare fuel difficulty wise (whether its this mod, mech bosses rework, infernum, or even base calamity/fargos.)

you're right! I found it incompatible with the TREA project mod, only with the brain of cthulhu, of how both mods conflict with their changes.
Tmodloader said it’s because this mod is out of date but now I've learned that it's just wrong!

Yeah just tested it, only this, Mech Bosses and Hero's mod so I could get the boss spawners, the bosses are broken, even with everything from MBR disabled in its options, I've even disabled Hero's mod and tried without it ,since I got the spawn items, and it still broken.

Again, as soon as I disabled MBR, they work correctly again.

personally I dont think its mech bosses rework, I religiously use that mod and dont have any problems with EOC, are you ABSOLUTELY sure that standard procedure left you with just this and mech bosses rework? are you running any fargos crap? and finally did you run standard procedure, or just nuke mech bosses and call it a day, always keep in mind a mod conflict might not be between just 2 mods, it could be 3 or even 4 interacting in a bad way, especially where fargos is concerned if your running any of those mods (notoriously mod incompatible.)

So after some testing I found out what causes the conflict, Its Mech Bosses Rework, for some reason that affects the EOC charge attack, I disable that mod and the dashes work correctly.

It also affects the mech bosses even if you disable the ones from that mod in the options, it breaks most of the reworks from this one, Destroyer's body is destroyed seconds after it spawns only leaving the head going in circles, Skeletron's arms dont spawn at all. Only one that works is The Twins.

Dunno if its fault of this mod or theirs but I use that one cus I like the extra mech bosses it adds.

Eye of Cthulhu (at least on Master mod, I havent tried expert mode) has an error on its second phase, after going in circles aroud you, instead of charging at you it imediately skips to the next attack of spewing teeth at you.

Apart from that, the fight is quite fun, specially compared to the old version of the EOC rework.

Destroyer seems to be a common MP problem, (worms are a nightmare for MP) but I'll see what I can do
I already tried Cal compatibility before but it didn't work out, I'll worry about when the mod is closer to having all reworks I want

the destroyer doesn't play well with multiplayer. head was constantly lagging behind the body, and one person said it was completely invisible

the destroyer is badly desyncing in multiplayer in this mod so if you plan on playing in multiplayer i suguest turning the Ai changes for this one off but the rest seem to be fine for the most part.

it also has a problem despawning in its last phase, like the worms will stay around where you died for minutes. Like they will go very high or very low and try to despawn, but only a segment will, and then they go back to normal height for a few seconds and repeat, until there is just 2 segments, in which, the remaining segment automatically dies and drops its bag.

also sometimes when he does the spin attack high up, you are just stuck at the bottom of the ring and cant leave, you just get hit by his body over and over. Like, if theres no blocks to land on inside his ring, you just fall onto him and theres nothing you can do.

as the creator of an entire overhaul mod, I assume it wouldnt be that difficult for you to just brute force your way through code wise and add support between the two but I could be wrong.

generally when somebody asks for support between two overhaul mods its a fan not one of the creators, so this piqued my curiosity. let me know if im like horribly wrong about my thesis as I know nothing about coding.

and make sure "undo non REV vanilla boss changes" is off under the "calmitweaks" option in the configs, you will know its icon by the suspicious looking eye in the "calmitweaks" header in the configs
