Hell I already did too much by adding the reviver headcrab into the warehouse area.
The best part of about this map to me is that I played it on hard difficulty and it was fun to me, and everything felt very intuitive; so I'm going to use this map to entertain guests who have never played Alyx before on normal-level; and I think that they will really enjoy it too.
The only negative I see is that I don't like getting kicked out of the game to the menu screen. I want to see an ending of some sort to finalize the story.
-Intermittent 'ghosting' of images as going throughout the level when smooth turning. Nothing that affects gameplay or game breaking, but I would pick up on this ghosting/microstutters here and there.
- The visuals do a solid job of providing an immersive playground with the appropriate mood when needed (e.g., the dark areas). A world worth exploring just for how it looks.
- The gameplay, however, does not keep up with the visuals (played on Normal difficulty). It was by no means bad, it was that the amount of ammo available, and the generally wide open spaces, provided little tension/excitement for myself.
An enjoyable level, visually arresting, that could use a boost in making the combat more engaging.
Really enjoyed this, you can find my playthough here:
