This is an absolute work of art!!! With the Hunt active it brings his speed up to 120, turning him into the demon he was meant to be with a Hunt active. Spectating him in 3rd person mode is absolute cinema with this mod.

For anyone wondering, this mod still works perfectly (even with 200 mods) but to be safe, put it at the very bottom of your mod load order.

Just to say this mod now makes Orion float above the battlefield in every battle and he cannot move. I have other mods active so maybe a compatibility issue or mod could need an update but I've had to disable this mod.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention @Neil! After reading about the fix in Github, it should be about Orion unnecessarily getting penalized in shallow water and so I've applied the fix they made there to here as well.

The community bug fix mod does make a small change to Orions land_units table.
It changes him from 'elves_wef' to 'elves_wef_large' in the 'Ground Stat Effect Group'.

I'm not sure what this does tbh, but thought you might want to make the same change.

Mod is still working for me, despite having many mods installed and active at the same time. Try unsubscribing and re-subscribing. Could also be that one of the mods you have is overwriting the changes made to Orion here.

Hi there, thanks for posting the mod I used it for a campaign before and it was really cool and fitting to the lore having him charge in with his wild riders and stag knights, it made for some epic scenes! :D

That said, I'm not sure if it's just on my end but the mod doesn't seem to be working anymore! :<

I suppose in theory it could, although I am unsure since I've actually never seen Orion get knocked down in both games.

Does the additional mass also help with him being knocked down? Iirc that was a problem in WH2 ^^

Thanks for the award Stabberlol. Unfortunately for the forest dragon mount for Orion, I don't think it's possible since Orion is treated as a "giant" in the game files, so it'd be like putting a dragon on a monster unit, although if someone actually can do it, then all the better. As for the durthu mod, I'm actually not sure if there is a disparity in gameplay with Durthu versus the lore as compared with Orion. The only changes I can think of would be a buff for him, but beyond that I'm clueless.

No, the latest patches don't affect Orion, but I'll "update" this mod soon so it doesn't produce a warning anyways.

Forgot to mention, Expeditious Endeavour should be in the same skill tree as Hawk's Talon!

There is no need to buff Orion's speed anymore than I already have, since the skill, "Expeditious Endeavour" gives more move speed to Orion. I've got striking branches and the skill I just talked about, both maxed out. With these skills, Orion has 110 speed and his Wild Riders with 108 speed.

Absolutely love this mod, just for the speed to ride with his wild Riders, that's like, Orions entire theme!
On that note, would it be possible to include Orion to be Buffed under the "Striking Branches" Red-line skill? It buffs Wild Riders Speed, meaning that Orion can no longer keep up with them due to buffs he provides lol.

No problem, and I am sorry that in my previous comments I give you the wrong number for balance changes, it should be 4,5,6 and 8 lol.

Is possible for you to fix compatibility issues for other mods that change the armor-piercing damage or melee bonuses with the "aggressive battles" mod as well in the future?

The bug should be fixed now. Also I've changed the melee bonus v large accordingly now to 25 instead. Thanks for telling me about the issue!

Hi, I have a question with this mod.

When this mod is activated with your "Aggressive Battles" mod, the listed balance changes No.4,5,6,7 and 9 does not take effect.

In vanilla version, the initial melee bonus v large should be 15, is 35 too high?

@General Vibes Quite the opposite actually, his animation actually looks smoother with this speed and more natural. Instead his normal speed of 55 makes it look as if he is being held back when you compare it to this.

I had heard the reason for his speed reduction was due to his animation/rigging and it would look horrid if sped up, is that true do you think?
