I apologize if my previous comment came off as rude, that was not my intention. I do not know how mods work, all I know is that I was playing the game fine with my other mods, exited out of the game to go search for a cat mod, installed this one, imported, got back into my game, and then my characters were not following correctly. I don't know if this mod conflicts with another mod of mine, or if something else was amiss. It just seemed the most logical conclusion to assume the mod I just added was the one that caused the issue. I started a new game with all of the old mods except this one and the following issue was gone.

Considering this mod literally changes nothing related to AI.

Yeah I solved the issue by not doing anything, good bug report.

After adding this mod, my people and animals stopped following correctly. Instead of 'staying close', they'd run about 50 ft away and never get any closer, following from that distance. I removed the mod, the problem persisted. I removed all mods, and even then the problem persisted. I booted up a save I made before adding any mod, a pure vanilla save, and the issue was gone. I did not have any issues prior to adding this mod. I was playing perfectly fine just a minute before I went and looked for a cat mod, added this one, got back into the game, imported, and suddenly the whole follow mechanic was dysfunctional. Really hope this could be fixed as I would love to have some cats running around!

I love my kitties, always play with them. Would love it you update the mod and add more cat variants like calico, orange, grey, etc.

Has visual conflict with Xenoblade 2: Pneuma mod, turns backpack ugly on pneuma.

Hello, Thanks for this great mod. I have spent many hours enjoying it, and shed some salty RP tears when I have lost more than one of my beloved kitties. Therefore, I have made a submod to make the super cats from this Mod tougher, stronger. and more sneaky. In my mind they are more like tiny Kenshi Panthers of justice. My goal for this balance was "a good bit more likely to survive" instead of "murders all in it's path."

I also made a mod called "Comically Large Cats" which is about... well really big versions of these cats, which do in fact murder all in their path.

This mod is still required so I hope you are ok with this and get a kick out of it:

I'm trying to ask if there are cats available of less than age 90 that will level up via growth mechanics like the pups/teens/adults/elders of other animal species or if cats are all adults.

I assume kittens are just tiny cats.

I know they grow up, that's why I want to buy a kitten and train it early so the aging boosts the gains. But all I see are adults and like 2 elders, no kittens or teens

Great cute cats! I really love them following me. They are so vulnerable and easy to die, but I protect them from gutters! Thank you for making this mod. BTW, how / where can I mount the backpack as shown in the pic above?

I'm not very experienced with making cooking recipes in Kenshi's modding tool but if there is a way to have one recipe entry that can use regular meat OR fish, that would be pretty cool!

Rice and meat with water sounds like a good recipe.

Technically there is also Dried Fish, but you can't cook it in base-game and it has to be bought. However, I figured you probably wouldn't make cat food with dried fish, but I don't know lol

That's a grand idea! If you decide to add some kind of cat food, I have a suggestion for the recipe.

There are 2 fish food items in the game, the Grand Fish and the Thinfish but I think you have to purchase them from vendors. Maybe make the recipe to be 2 or 3 Thinfish and some water (possibly make a dry cat food variant that doesn't use water?). Of course, you could always substitute fish for other meat.

Also, in real life, pet food companies often use fillers like wheat, corn and other various veggies like rice, beets, and tomatoes. Just throwing out ideas here.

Feeding cats, I should add canned cat food to this.
