In my campaign, Alberic's rank is five but his tier-2 vow remain locked. However, the tier-2 effects work fine. So strange.

@Veni I actually found the opposite, if you manually select a vow at any point, the auto-complete won't happen even if you get to the required level. It only worked if you left the vows unselected (which is fine by me!)

That is right, and I have long decided to omit this issue since WH2 --- the mod is intended just as a time saver for Bretonnia player.

Whoever decides to manually completing the vow, shall be awarded with free upkeep --- it is not much gain anyway, since Bretonnia economy is so strong.

So there is a pretty big bug I have found. If you manage to do the vow quest before the vow unlock, you get free upkeep knight units. I don't think you want that. Maybe the mechanic should set the new knight upkeep or you should add a script that checks the number of times a vow has been completed on character levelling?

It would be great if you could replace the original effect of growth of chivalry with something else. Because we now get VOWS by upgrading. :=

I find that Saint's Vow is not unlocked as the level increases

added support to the recent knight of origo mod by graetor

There is a new crusader vow in that mod --- you still need to manually get that, but all others are auto-activated based on level.

This mod is damn essential when playing Bretonnia. The vanilla Vow system is un-fun and tedious as best.

I am starting to think this is exactly the case. The second lord made his first vow and now his errants and realms are also free.

shouldn't be.

but if you manually initiated some vow, the effect may be applied twice & give free upkeep --- just take that as a small buff :-)

Hello. Can this mod cause the zero upkeep bug for knights? I'm trying to figure out why is my Alberic suddenly can have free questers and I don't see a definitive reason. It's only him (so far) too.

Does this not work for Lords that are recruited a higher rank than the mod automatically unlocks them? I've set the mod to work at 1, 2 and 5 the last one will just not be immediately unlocked

The Lore of the Lady mod adds Damsels with Lore of the Lady, I'd appreciate it if you could add it ^^ Iirc the damsel heroes with lore of the lady don't have vows, so they don't need to be added :D

yeah, its funny because it worked fine in SP and we did test around a bit, we have tho experience some mods that work fine for others in coop not working fine for us, but alas i can atleast use your mod in my SP game ^^

I tested before in co-op and it worked perfectly fine. Also, it is a pure script mod so in no way it can affect game loading --- the worst case of a script mod is it is not taking effect.

Co-op has many issues such as mods not updated for all players, de-sync, etc., so weird things can happen regardless of mod.

dosnt work for coop with me and my friend, we have been going through all our mods at a time to see what the hell made the game not work and when we tested this the game finally stopped "abandoning game" as soon as the load was over :/

It will add the vow / troth based on level. The trait panel shall show the vow effect once you load the game.

Back to the old days of WH2 where paladin vow were also bugged, I was so pissed so I made this mod :-)

In several characters pledges dont work. Like the pledge of chivalry no progress was being made and my characters are like level 30 now. So lets hope this fixes it.
