Hey, for some reason im stuck on the 2nd mission cause i can keep flying in front, behind, next to the Zulu flight above kiev, i keep them locked in my radar, they just wont wave off

Does anyone have fram issues on this mod? I can play some missions on 120fps but this one only 45fps

Easily one of the best Campaigns available! I’m just sad to have finished it. Would be awesome to have a sequel/follow-up to this Campaigns.

Finally had time to complete the last mission.

I loved how you are immersing players in the plot via dialogues. Even with AI VO it just works and feels close to alive.

Variaty of tasks and activities during this campaign was also a great thing to experience.

I wish I can support this mod and next episode with some form of purchase/donation. Still hope to see EP2 some day.

The first four missions are pretty good, don't know about the rest of it though because mission 4 does not complete properly (seems to be due to the incomplete 'objective' that exists just to set a waypoint at the airbase, which is not necessary (anymore?)) and the missions are order-locked.

Please consider this a lower quality story version because for all the problems the multiplayer code has with control of friendly AI planes, the missions had to be simplified a little. If you fly solo, stick to single player versions of this campaign.

Since E2 is really on ice, I have done a T-55 conversion of this campaign if someone is interested in something to do with the small DLC plane.

Wow, such a great campaign!

Had tons of fun playing through this mission, it was really well done. I ended up using one of the aircraft skin mods, the "Ghost of Kyiv" {LINK FJERNET}(https://vtolvr-mods.com/skin/bccpjejf/). My favorite part was the canyon run on the last mission, though getting to bully the stalled convoy was also pretty fun

I hope the situation over there improves so you can have an opportunity to work on episode 2. Good luck and Slava Ukraini!

I have only played the first mission and can already see this is going to be a great campaign. As a veteran mission dev myself I know how much hard work you have put into this. The map scenery, ground AI units at the airports, the chatter between the AI wing units and the narrative story line are all excellent. Although the first mission is relatively simple I don't think, generally speaking, people (players) fully understand just how much coding and testing is needed even for a simple mission. Campaigns of this depth and quality are a rare commodity. Great work!

I struggled somewhat with the last mission because of the 3 AA, then being winchester for the remainder, etc.
I finally managed to destroy the very last target with my very last bullets !!! What a rush.

Thanks for making such wonderful campaign, really had a great time going through all the missions. Yes, no rush at all, take your time with the next release as you are actually helping people that are in need. We look forward to your next release, can't wait for you to show us how the Ukrainian will beat the Russian back to where they came from... It will also be cool if you could add Glory to Ukraine at the end of each mission brief haha, love your work and keep it up.

Guys, since it doesn't look like Episode 2 will be done for quite some time due to combination of real life reasons and the fact that my family is currently housing some refugees from Ukraine (4 small kids with their mum and granny), which doesn't give me much calm for VR. But in the mean time I decided to release at least the map where the Episode 2 is planned to be happening. Hope you like it, it took at least a month to put it together following real maps.

@Iggirosales - What is your problem with those 5 manpads ? If it is too hard, then remember you can simply fly above 15 000 feet and bomb them from that altitude without them being able to fire back, or you can just lock the manpad with TGP and send a wingman for it.

I am completely loving these set of missions, I also appreciate the "comedy" you placed on the dialogues between the wingmans.... I am stuck tho on mission 5 as I am not being able to pass one of the objectives that is destroying 5 manpads i think they were called... sorry for all the grammatical errors English is not my first language

@Hard_Reset - Subtitles are unfortunately a hack as there is no official support for subtitles. It was a hard decision because it is not possible in current state of editor to make subtitles easy to turn on/off. So I had to decide if the campaign will have them or not and I simply guessed that since this is international community and the voices might not be always clear (both computer generated or later some volunteer actors) subtitles are helpful to more people, than annoying to some. If in the future VTOL VR will have better subtitles support that can be turned on/off by settings, I will use it.

@DerTechnoboy - multiplayer gameplay would remove focus from story and characters. So also future episodes will be single player and story focused. But feel free to find the map in workshop and use it for a multiplayer mission if you want.

@hop11 - select F/A-26 plane and then under Custom Campaigns ;-)

Great campaign! Good variety of missions, good pacing, well balanced and challenging. I've been looking for a good Ukraine campaign and this one delivered.

One small piece of feedback, I found the subtitles for the dialog to be distracting. The audio was clear, I could understand what they were saying without reading the subtitles, and they clutter up the screen.

This is a seriously awesome campaign. Loving every minute of it so far (about to start the last episode). Characters are great, give a nice element of personality! Can't wait to see more from you :)

@KoidaKomo - thanks, but I am taking a bit of break right now with the voices waiting for mission feedback (e.g. bugs) and have enough work deleting Russian trolls from comments in the past days.

What will happen next is that I hope in a few weeks I will simply extract all the mission subtitles to a group of txt files as a form of script and just post it on the internets and anyone can try to voice them and send them over. You can actually already try to just open the mission files and find all the .ogg files there and start replacing a character you would like.

No other characters are planned at the moment for Episode 1 and I have not yet fully decided what Episode 2 will be about. Currently I am just experimenting with map editor what other location can be brought to life for a continuation.

PS: Fun part is that so far no volunteer for the one female voice I need. I guess VTOL VR is not really having those in the community. :D

On second thought... Do you have someone already casted for the AWACS role or another male character other than the wingman? I'd be happy to send over some lines. I've got an AudioTechnica AT2020
