The reason why you experience intense lag when the menu is open is because you guys are playing a version of Teardown incompatible with the tool menu. If you can, downgrade to AT LEAST to version 1.5 by right-clicking Teardown, press Properties, press Betas, and opt into 'prev_build_1.5' - Version 1.5. This should fix the lagging.

unfortunately that is impossible with this mod as this mod is based on the original tool menu which doesn't have the feature
well then since the comment I am thinking of uploading the v2 tool menu onto workshop tomorrow which you can change the keybind

How do I change the key to open the menu because thats my noclip keybind.

This mod is basically the original tool menu mod but with the favorite saving across games instead of randomly changing when you load up a new map
also tries to fix the invalid order function error that may be in the original mod

not really sure about posting it on github/similiar (unable to find a repo) or workshop, so just uploaded it onto my vps

install by unzipping the file and move the folder into Teardown's mod folder which is
[your documents folder]/Teardown/mods

also going to make a guide of how to fix most tool menu variants
