Jeri the reason you can't find photos of it is because NS never repainted any of their SD35s. The most that happened was patch jobs until their retirement in 1989. Many of the ex N&W SD35s became EMD Leasers, retaining their high short hood. Its an interesting "what if" but the nose logo is way too low. Im also gonna point out that neither Penn Central nor Western Maryland had nose mounted headlights on their SD35s.

Very nice work, I didn't know NS' SD35s ever made it into their livery, I've only ever seen pics of the patched NW ones in the 80s
