TFA is throwing Lua errors in Gmod

Using the TFA Star wars weapons what happened to the light that came off the bolts they were there but arent lighting up the area anymore

how do i make it work with tfa base because when i edit something in this tfa base and make a preset then choose it in the original tfa base it is not like what i did in tfa base reduxed

Нет, TFA BASE работает ТОЛЬКО с оружием TFA...

Если вы просто хотите изменить поле зрения стандартного оружия Half-Life, просто используйте эту консольную команду:

viewmodel_fov 65

замените 65 на желаемое число.

прикол в том что я скачал только TFA Base и все, оно не работало на стандартных оружиях, скачал пак оружий TFA все заработало, я так понимаю на дефолтные оружия из Half-Life не работает ? Если так, то не страшно

Если на данный момент у вас ВСЕ ЕЩЕ есть эта проблема, попробуйте ОТКЛЮЧИТЬ все имеющиеся у вас аддоны, кроме TFA BASE и оружия, которое вы хотите использовать, перезапустите игру (снова -_-) и загрузите карту... если это сработает, это означает, что что у вас может быть другой аддон, создающий эту проблему, и это не TFA BASE.

Если ничего из этого не помогло, вы можете попробовать решить ли текущая версия TFA BASE эту проблему.

Хорошо, вот что вы можете попробовать сделать, чтобы это исправить:

Зайдите в папку установки мода вашего Гарри.
(обычно путь в Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod)

когда окажетесь там, удалите папку «CACHE», которая там находится, и запустите игру.

если это не сработает, попробуйте удалить это дополнение ВО ВРЕМЯ ИГРЫ, затем перезапустите Gmod и загрузите карту... Переустановите дополнение и посмотрите, сработало ли это...

Проблема, которую вы описали, на самом деле может заключаться в самой базе, другом аддоне, который конфликтует с ней, или в оружии, которое вы пытаетесь использовать, которое было создано для более новой версии TFA BASE и не работает с более старой версией.

У меня почему-то TFA Base вообще не работает, что бы я не делал в утилите, не реагирует, нет изменений.. Хотел FOV оружия поменять с прицелом, нет реакции, мб совет дадите как это исправить ? или надо еще что-то докачать помимо TFA Base?? буду благодарен за совет)

это не ошибка... это несовместимость, вызванная тем, что эта версия и новая представляют собой один и тот же аддон, но с разными функциями...
Эта версия старше новой версии TFA-VOX, которую вы можете найти в мастерской... так что вам просто нужно выбирать между этой версией и новой... Вы просто не можете иметь их обе...

Багует ели одновременно установлены и база и база редукс из-за одинаковых файлов

you're free to do as you wish, altough, if you find problems running the current TFA base addon, then i suggest trying this out.
i use this older version for compatilibity reasons with the other reuploaded addons.

the first thing i would do is clear the gmod cache... altough you're not the first one experiencing this issue...
i honestly don't know what the hell happend all of the sudden, i havent touched these reuploads in any way, you can see it in the changelogs...
did the tfa addons just decided to end themselves because yes??? wtf...

to clear your gmod cache, simply go to the gmod directory and delete the folder named "cache"
the default path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod

if you installed gmod on a custom directory, (for example a secondary or external drive) then search the cache folder there.

Do I use this or original TFA addon? Both are causing a kajillion Lua errors for me so I need a fast solution

the only time i experienced that was because i enabled the addon that was already installed without restarting the game, try that and see it that fixes it...
i will investigate this issue.

This thing is causing X1,000 Lua errors in under a second. It's possible a hook was missed.

i've NEVER heard an issue that breaks a "simple function", such as the cleanup before...
that doesn't mean i don't belive you encountered such problem tho...
could you do some tests?
try these:

Play Gmod with EVERY addon disabled. (disable everything and restart the game to be sure)
Play Gmod with ONLY THIS TFA BASE enabled. (disable everything but TFA base and restart the game to be sure)
Delete the "Cache" folder of Gmod (if you know where it's located)
See if the console reports any errors when the cleanup doesn't work.

that's all the advice i can provide with so little information, if after all of these steps the problem still persists, i'll search for different methods / fixes for this VERY strange issue...

there's a problem with this addon what happens is it breaks the cleanup under admin in utilities tab in singleplayer. you won't be able to clean up the map

dont worry about the people who made the tfa base. i ran into them before they are self entitled jack wagons and most of their community is toxic af. if they get offended then dont take it personal. everything offends them. they are the literal karens of the modding community with the arc9 and ArcCw creators not to far off in those regards. they think because they can make a cool weapon bace that they are better than everyone else. the only reason i even use their mod is because most of the weapons i use are through tfa. they just ain't good people. you on the other hand are better than that. dont worry about what they say you just do the cool stuff you do.

yes, you can try to keep them both, but i suggest you only choose one, having pretty much the same files (except of course some changes that the developer made) they might go in conflict...
if you're planning to use this reupload, then you need to disable / uninstall ALL other TFA Bases (TFA-VOX Base does not count in this case)

Do i get rid of TFA base for this?

i put "Original" in the title because this are exactly the same files as before it was deleted, no modifications whatsoever...
i even wrote in the description that the addon isn't mine and i take no credit for it.

Original means "FIRST" means "ORIGINAL". You need to learn english.

if you have TFA Base installed, and it works normally, then you don't need this.

so if i already have tfa base i dont need to download this right?
