It's not something I can fix. It's a model.cfg issue, which I have no way of changing. That would be something to report to the JSDF Mod developers.

The Osprey Transport is more meant to move supplies around. I don't know if you could realistically fit a Wiesel 2 into a V22. The vanilla model certainly does not fit.

Hi sparky, adore your JSDF mods. Only feedback is really that i cant seem to lead the Wiesel 2 into the Osprey. while ospreys from other mods like UK3CB i can. any chances you could "fix" that?

I don't know. This mod tries to use vanilla for reference and I don't use RHS so I will not be accomodating it either.

That's hardly on me. I tried my best to patch up YAG's work - and I've fixed a LOT of things, but ultimately its him and his team on "JSDF Mod" who modeled and coded the vehicles. There's not much I can do about it unfortunately, any compaints should be addressed over there.

This mod should be used by players rather than AI.

I mean, it's a vehicle issue, AI isn't really able to use most of the vehicles properly, they won't fire any of the artillery pieces, APCs like the type 96 need the gunner to get out to use the turret yet the AI refuses under any circumstace to do it, and the AI's driving for the tracked vehicles is horrendous

@SeriOus It's a known issue about the Type 20 rifle. The model is not set up propperly to fit either suppresors or bipods, its not something I can fix.

Oh, sorry, I don't know much about the game code, but I noticed that type10 and type90 are missing the "ArmorCrash" file, which should be the problem, it is found in almost all armored vehicle files, but it is missing in the type10 and type90.

Type 99, yes. UH-60 no, as it does not have any passenger seats and would require to edit the model, which I'm not allowed to do. Ideally I'd get some 3rd party made assets but a lot of models, vehicles specially, are very expensive. Might try porting stuff from Arma 2

SeriOus not sure which tanks you looked at, because all vanilla MBTs have the armorStructural value set to 6.

From my understanding vanilla is the standard most mods follow, and so does this one.

Hi, I may have found a bug in the TYPE10MBT data code, the "ArmorStructural" should not be 6, it should be a larger value like 200 or more (based on other mod tanks).This left the tank uncomfortably vulnerable.

Cheers Ive got in the lineup now will let you know. The original just had a lot of call outs in the log. Stalled entry into the editor which took forever to load. Now everything seems fine again but really want this mod to work.

My community used this with no problems for a while. As for ACE compatibility, it should not really need one as most of JSDF Overhauled uses vanilla weapon systems and ammo.

Keep in mind that this mod is still a work in progress with more features and bugfixes coming in the future

I just took JSDF out my rotation it just had too many errors in the log files. Very likely to the ACE compatibility issue as well. Was there any error fixes done? I really was reluctant to pull the mod as I am a huge fan of it. Just a lot of unique equipment. Was very well made it just didn't play well with other mods.

Good to know :). And I would also suggest using more sog prarie content as your base. I think Cobra and Huey are in the DLC, doing retextures like you did with Phantom would be good.

@Ry0u thanks for the kind words. I am indeed planning to add more markings to vehicles. I also want to rework more textures. It's a slow process, but I'm slowly getting there :)

You really made the 2 mods, 2x better than it already is. Keep up the good work! I really hope the original modder put up better Commander/Gunner view for the MBTs :(. Any plans to add on more markings for the vehicles?
