all of that is very fascinating, makes me wonder what kind of technology the vortigaunts and humans could come up with by reverse engineering alot of combine tech, i bet the moment the rebels get some breathing room especially after the super portal at the old citadel was snuffed out by the rocket launch at white forest, they are gonna absolutely going to gain some ground technologically
