I know everyone asks you for asset ideas, but I think a collection of single family homes would be awesome - some ranch style, some older retro style, and some cool modern ones would be so cool!

Loading Screen Mod is telling me that several assets are missing in order for me to use this mod. One of them, Concrete Tiles Pack 1, requires Decal Prop Fix, which is a depreciated mod. I know it's a lot to ask, but could this be updated to use more updated asset? It's such a beautiful asset, I really want to use it in my game!

Buildings just disappear. Pointless.

I just cheat and use no abandonment mod. Otherwise you probably need more nearby overlapping education buildings, transport options like buses, trams and maybe closer police, fire and health building coverage.
