By chance I discovered that this mod also works for Left 4 Dead 1, although it has the same problem that it only works on Bill

Sorry but I dont think im working on individual voice mods like these again (spent months manually replacing each individual audio file for every survivor)
Only alternative i can think of would be to find script mods that make survivors share each other's voices (e.g a mod that gives Bill the voice of Nick) and see if those work with custom voice mods too

@person man how about doing the same as the l4d2 survivors. Bill(Ordianl), Francis(Wallhammer), Louis(Suppressor), and Zoey(Grunt).

basically just chose one between:
-Combine voice for Bill only
-Combine voice for all l4d1 survivors (only works offline i think)
no need to download both

@HALFDEAD if you mean the mod of the hl2 combine voice for Bill, then its because this mod is technically a just copy of that with an extra script that shares Bill's voice with the rest of the l4d1 survivors

Been having problems as of recently where Bill's the only L4D1 cast member using the voicelines. Louis, Zoey, and Francis all use base-game voicelines despite this mod supposedly effecting them as well.

Is there a chance you could do what you did with the l4d2 survivors and make each voice unique? (Bill as Ordinal, Louis as Wallhammer, Francis as APF and Zoey as Echo 1 Grunt) instead of all having the same voice.

It works well 90% of the time. Although, I have found instances of default voice-lines playing, i.e. reloading voice-lines.

Seems like a vocalizer mod or anything speech-related scripts interfere with the script.

It works in single not in multiplayer. If it does, its only 1 character or every so often. Live multiplayer is bugged but I love this mod!

it worked for me (although i dont have any vocalizers installed)
i always only planned on making the Bill only addon but seeing other "y survivor with x survivor's voice" addons, i tried using that method in order to make this 4-in-1 Combine voice mod for all survivors and it worked just fine for me
but i honestly dont know what's causing so many issues for others

im guessing it doesn't work online because of the script
also custom maps may have custom dialogue sequences that are independent of voice pack scripts as well

is there a way you could keep all of the voice lines you have replaced with the combine chatter and voice modulator in L4d1/2, and just mute or remove the rest of the untouched survivor voices? That way they do not intermingle, and only the combine voices would play, instead of the normal voices with them.
