Sorry about that.
Hopefully, after the next DLC gets announced, I might get my interest back to this game.
When there are 2 mods, that all edit the same file in a different way, you get compatibility issues.
You can't have 2 files under 1 name. SO, you make 1 file, and combine elements from both mods into that file.
Of course, it rarely works to just slap code together like that. You need to have a bit of knowledge in how this code works. It's really not too difficult, I'm sure there are tutorials around the internet.
I learned a bit by just toying around with it. Copy a few lines of code into a files, and see how the game reacts.
I am a beginner at this obviously. More complex mods require a lot more tinkering. Not to mention it's very easy to break the game balance. That's why you probably can't just slap together SOW and Dynamic Trade Routes that easily...
I would like to try and make a compatibility patch between those mods, but it will be quite a bit more complex.
Aesthetics, balance, performance...all those would be questionable with the merge of these mods.
I will make an attempt in any case, as I love both mods.
