Persimmons in real life grow on trees, but you just find them on the ground in this mod? I think you should use the apple tree or mango tree sprite instead. And, would help distinguish them from pumpkins that way.
TomTheFoolery 27 dec, 2024 @ 11:32
That's great news, thanks a bunch!
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 27 dec, 2024 @ 10:53
Of course! I've been thinking about porting over my current update progress to B42 to take advantage of the new crafting and fluid systems.
TomTheFoolery 27 dec, 2024 @ 9:25
Is there any hope for a B42 update?
TTV Gamejunkiez 29 okt, 2024 @ 19:19
my pleasure! left you a thumbs up and thanks for the great mod
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 29 okt, 2024 @ 0:59
Interesting, thanks for letting me know!
TTV Gamejunkiez 27 okt, 2024 @ 16:54
Hey! I was looking through your mod and I saw you were looking for a way to add your items to vanilla evolvedrecipe lists without overwriting base items. The kind folks at the modding discord helped me figure out how.

item:DoParam("EvolvedRecipe = item:5")

this adds your item to the existing recipe list without overwriting the base item. I hope it helps!
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 28 mar, 2024 @ 12:12
Those were obsoleted ever since you could use herbs themselves as spices.
Mit 28 mar, 2024 @ 9:54
How to craft Parsley shaker, basil shaker?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 25 aug, 2023 @ 22:40
I don't see why it wouldn't be. I don't use Sapph's, so I can't confirm that, though.
BroDimm 25 aug, 2023 @ 21:45
compatible with sapph cooking?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 30 maj, 2023 @ 11:37
I'll consider adding a recipe list when I get the latest version done and dusted, which may be a while.
Jane Helldiver 29 apr, 2023 @ 16:17
Recipe list please?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 24 apr, 2023 @ 18:38
Hmm, then I'd say use caution when using them together.
Syrup 24 apr, 2023 @ 16:29
It does touch a lot of the cooking stuff but also adds hunting, adds to trapping, farming, and fishing
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 24 apr, 2023 @ 11:34
I've never used Snake's LGR, so I couldn't tell you for sure.
Syrup 24 apr, 2023 @ 10:53
Compatible with Snake's LGR?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 10 mar, 2023 @ 11:14
It should be, for the most part. I don't personally use Sapph's, but they should play nicely together.
Grimscribe 10 mar, 2023 @ 7:07
is this compatible with sapph's cooking?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 4 feb, 2023 @ 20:46
I could look into making bulk bouillon for the upcoming update, yeah.
Nyx (She/Her) 4 feb, 2023 @ 14:50
typically Bullion is a flavor source (meat, veg, fish, etc) boiled in water with looooots of seasonings, and a tiny bit of fat (usually the fat of the flavor source), then just cooked down until its a solid mass that can be formed into cubes
Nyx (She/Her) 4 feb, 2023 @ 14:48
curious question but, could a recipe for Bullion be added? would be nice to have around late-game
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 21 jan, 2023 @ 19:30
I'll look into it, it might give me an excuse to see if I can make custom EvolvedRecipes.
Mr.Fox 21 jan, 2023 @ 19:04
No clue if you take suggestions but could you do something like Acorn coffee since you can already make acorn flour
Rex 17 nov, 2022 @ 20:12
I see, thanks for the input
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 17 nov, 2022 @ 19:12
Not currently, no.
Rex 17 nov, 2022 @ 18:15
Does this expand canned foods any?
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 7 nov, 2022 @ 23:41
Ooh, interesting. Pine wine is already planned for the next big update, and this might be a good addition as well. Nice find!
UdderlyEvelyn 7 nov, 2022 @ 21:42
There's a drink made from pinecones that one can make, seems it might fit in with this mod, though IRL it uses unripe pinecones:

CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 2 nov, 2022 @ 17:01
No problem! Please let me know if that was the cause.
DoktorFar 2 nov, 2022 @ 15:37
Thanks a lot for the work you do and for taking it so seriously when reports of bugs!
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 2 nov, 2022 @ 11:38
Hey, sorry for the late update. The only reason I can really think of that would cause issues in older versions of Zomboid would probably be the new EvolvedRecipe tags for food items - the game is probably trying to add those invalid tags to the evolved recipe code itself and causing issues over it. You could try trimming those down yourself and see if that's the fix.
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 23 okt, 2022 @ 11:59
The mod is only intended to be used with the latest Zomboid version, although it still shouldn't be breaking too terribly in 41.68, unless I'm missing something. I'll try and see what I can do before the next update
DoktorFar 22 okt, 2022 @ 16:58
Doesnt work in my 41.68 save anymore, besides not working a lot of recipes cant be made at all. Like Stir Fry seems like it is unavailable due to a missing frying pan, even though I have both tons of frying pans and lots of food items for.
MobileSuitCleb 2 okt, 2022 @ 11:57
Haha probably an easy thing to overlook, thankyou mate!
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 2 okt, 2022 @ 11:54
I can't believe I forgot to add strawberries alongside all the other berries. It'll be fixed in the next update!
MobileSuitCleb 2 okt, 2022 @ 7:57
Any chance of adding strawberries to the jam recipe? Great mod by the way!
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 29 sep, 2022 @ 19:00
Yep, Pine Nuts and its roasted version have a shelf life of 90 days, and Pine Nut Butter doesn't expire at all - it could be considered Non-Perishable, since it's edible
Gaist Heidegger 29 sep, 2022 @ 18:54
Ahh, right-on! Pine Nut Butter also Cooking in that case? Presumably Pine Nuts & Roasted Pine Nuts are perishable food.
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 29 sep, 2022 @ 18:46
@Gaist
I'd consider them both "Cooking", since both are inedible; the actual harvested Pine Syrup item should definitely be Non-Perishable, though!
Gaist Heidegger 29 sep, 2022 @ 14:17
Hello! I'm looking at putting together a quick BetterSorting category patch for this and I'm presuming that Pine Syrup and Acorn Flour both use 'spoiling' to advance stages and complete themselves; would you consider them Food - Non-Perishable, or Cooking, if Cooking is generally more ingredients-focused? Cheers!
(๑و•̀ω•́)و 25 sep, 2022 @ 2:22
goes very well with other cooking/farming mods, can finally make ketchup. 10/10.
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 24 sep, 2022 @ 18:26
Sure, go ahead! And thank you for asking.
Stormbox 24 sep, 2022 @ 18:14
Hello! :scBunnygirl:
I am the owner of a small community and would like your permission to place your mod in a modpack for my server. Naturally, I'll credit you as the original owner of the mod, along with linking your mod to refer others here. Thank you in advance! :scWitch:
La__fonzi 23 sep, 2022 @ 21:45
its cool bro after the update the "farming time" mod seams to be working as intended now. be for i would get no visuals on corn crop growth it would be just seedlings for ever dont know why but we good
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 23 sep, 2022 @ 20:42
@La__fonzi It might have something to do with internal module work switching the path of the obsoleted herb shakers, my bad.

@Jaxx I have another mod idea cooking for that sort of thing, although it might be included in KnoxCooking later on
Jaxx - pshoooo 23 sep, 2022 @ 19:00
can i pray that you might add a single additional crafting recipe? a carpentry 5 skill craft to make 1 bowl out of a plank of wood. mod rework looks good though.
La__fonzi 23 sep, 2022 @ 17:42
well this update just deleted all my made spices bugger
CyrusJazzberry  [skapare] 22 sep, 2022 @ 23:06
Please let me know if you encounter any compatibility issues!
rawgu 22 sep, 2022 @ 23:06
