it would probably be easy and i thought i already ported it? but i lack both the motivation and the raw addon files (including model compilation data). considering i left the files on hard drives belonging to a computer i had before the previous one i had, it's probably safe to say i will not update this further. too lazy :D

there was a plugin/addon/tool that lets you attach a model onto another as long as it was set to have an attachment point of same name. it's been a while since i last had GMod installed so i'm not entirely sure what it was called or if better tools are available, see if keyword "bodygroup" yields anything - at least that's what i had written in the addon description
