Hello, thank you as always for the cute Miho. I have a question but don’t know who to mention, so I’ll just write it here.

My setup is RimWorld 1.6, and I believe the Miho assembly is also for 1.6.

Exception ticking Miho_Miclic4161478: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: Verse.TraverseParms Verse.TraverseParms.For(Verse.TraverseMode,Verse.Danger,bool,bool,bool)
at CompProximityFuseMiho.CompTick ()

This error suddenly appeared. In dnSpy (MonoTail.dll → CompProximityFuseMiho.CompTickRare), it calls:
TraverseParms.For(TraverseMode.NoPassClosedDoors, Danger.Deadly, false, false, false)

But in Assembly-CSharp.dll → TraverseParms.For, I can’t find a matching function. If this is just a rare edge case in my setup, that’s fine, but I wanted to report it in case it was overlooked. Sorry if I’m wrong.

@ChiyahaRe Yes, But at my perspective it's hardly an accumulation of adding mods. but rather a muti-threading problem specifically caused by the mod Melee Animation . I just found out that the AM.Autoduel is a sub-module of the aforementioned mod. The save file is unrecoverable. And you may want to turn off the muti-threading related configurations in the mod's setting page. It's not thread-safe and may cause major failure in the future.

It appears this is an issue specific to this particular save file.
The same error did not occur under the new colony. It may be caused by the accumulation of null reference errors in the save data due to repeated additions during gameplay.

This mod is a simple patch created to avoid null loops. While it didn't fully resolve the issue, it now allows opening the debug log in a soft-lock state, which was previously impossible.
Is there a way to make Player.log public without using Ctrl+F12?

@ChiyahaRe Hello. I've read your log and it seems like it was a conflict due to MihoPsycast Fix or/and Avoid Friendly Fire, as they both patched into the same method. A null object was passed into the DrawHighLight method which is in charge of the rendering of highlights of selected target. Since you've mentioned that disabling Avoid Friendly Fire is futile. You may as well try Disabling MihoPsycast Fix and see if the problem persists. By the way where did you find this mod? I can't find it on steam workshop.

After several experimental runs, it appears this issue may occur only with this specific save data.
Disabling mods that might be causing interference, such as MeleeAnimation and AvoidFriendlyFire, showed no change in the logs.

@ChiyahaRe It seems like you encountered a fatal exception that softlocked the game. And judging by your description, your developer mode is off as there was no console panel that would normally pop up to notice you about the error. As for now you may provide detailed log to help pinpointing the problem by doing the follows:


1.Navigate through your game settings to turn on the developer mode.
2.Try to reproduce the exception by doing exactly the same thing as the last time you triggered the softlock.
3.A console panel with scarry red log entries should appear. If you didn't install hugslib, proceed to click on the 'copy to clipboard' amidst the row of button. Then you can paste it into log uploading websites. Logpaste for example. Follow the instructions on the page and you should recieve a short link. Paste the link here and wait for modders to analyze and update should the concerned exception is technically solvable.

4.If you installed Hugslib, then simply press 'ctrl + F12' on your keyboard when the console pops up. This will automatically creates a github repository of your log. Don't worry as this won't gather any sensitive information. A link should be created shortly after and you may paste it here.


You may be encountering this because of mod conflicts or mods that has inherent problems. Or it could be a nasty ghostly runtime exception that is hard to reproduce and address. As for the conflicting situation you may as well try
disabling half of your modlist at a time and see if the problem presists. And by doing this eventually discovering the source of the conflict. Anyway stay hopeful. I hope this helps.

When pressing the button during the draft to execute psycasts on Miho and others, the bottom GUI disappears and stops accepting any keyboard input. Menus also cannot be opened.
VPE is not being used.

Hello, A MissingMethodException was thrown per tick when I tried to use launch missile ability of the big quadruped mechaoid who is equipped with 13.7 mm machine gun and 6.5 mm coaxial machine gun. Sorry I don't know its English name. The stacktrace reads as entails:

It seems like the CompProximityFuseMiho.CompTick() method invoked a native method that no longer exists called Verse.TraverseParams.For(//arguments). This may due to the recent update of the game I presume. Thank you for creating such an awesome mod!

[BUG] Thread error when loading save with shield equipped

Error log:
Tried to get a material from a different thread.
UnityEngine.MaterialPool:MatFrom()

How to reproduce:
1. Equip the shield on any pawn
2. Save game
3. Reload → crash

Request:
Please move texture loading to PostSpawnSetup method.
A temporary fix patch would be greatly appreciated!
