It shows scripted weapon icons. Half Life 2 icons are fonts that just display a letter. I'm planning on a version 2 of this addon as a new addon which will support those and quielte a few more things, as well as proper scaling and offset settings

Yeah I already learned my lesson, the CE HUD I did and was referring to already scales for example.

Hoping for it, but please make sure to have proper scaling (like how Flat HUD and SlateHUD for example always keep their intended scale no matter the pixel density)

At some point way down the line I'll likely remake the addon for a VHUD2 version with everything I learned after making the Halo CE HUD. There's a few more QoL and other things I added from what was supposed to be an update but just became too much upkeep with the level of hardcoding I did on this originally.

Great HUD design and functionality, terrible scaling
Also wish it've had more customization, especially ability to disable health&armor bars (I realized it would've looked very close to Modern Warfare 2019 HUD without those)

i do have the mod installed the hud works but i cant access any setting + its not in the options menu but in the utility one

Yeah I have no clue why some people can't see the settings. I can see them just fine and so can all but like two of my friends.

Yeah I know, it's not supposed to be a requirement for this HUD. It will be fixed soon.

for some reason I have been getting this lua error now:

I'll just move it to the utilities tab in the next update since for some reason the options tab doesn't exist for you guys; which by the way is weird as hell.

the options in the spawn menu doesn't work, the thing doesn't drop down and i'm unable to access the settings, are there commands?

I also don't have the VHUD tab, but the console commands work fine. Don't know why or how the spawnmenu options are not working.

Yea same. None of the HUD options show up. The tab is there, but nothing drops down when I click on it.

purely lua, no custom resources (at the moment). In the future I will be looking into making my own font for HL1 weapon icons since one does not exist.

On a related note, I love how you have both a number and CE-style display for the ammo in the gun currently used by the player.

@That Shark Guy -- I wanted to from the start, but they are formatted oddly in Half-Life 1, and do not have font resources to display them like hl2 & CSS do, so the only way would be for me to make my own icons for them which I don't really have time for right now.

Just pushed an update which adds some customization options & alternate modes for the utility ammo display to display HL1 utility ammo (Frag, 40mm, Satchel, Tripmine) or HL2DM utility ammo (adds SLAM to the hl2 one)

Awesome hud. It could sound weird, but I'm waiting for hud of my favourite S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Yeah, we have 2 of them, but first doesn't working for me and the second one has bug with health bar when you have health and armor more than 100.
