If the unit has the low profile perk (get high cover bonus if in low cover), then I guess this unit with height advantage and in low cover will get low cover + 2 * (high cover - low cover)?

Like the idea. Would be great if `added as +(high cover bonus - low cover bonus)` and `added as -low cover bonus` can be exposed as configurable values

ok, i tested it, its not a vanilla thing, so beware this mod gives heightadvantage(-coverbonus) to melee attacks aswell, if u engage from high to low ground

Hey just wanted to let you guys know this unfortunately doesn't work with the jet shot ability from Iridar's Jet Packs. Not exactly sure why, but it's a shame it doesn't work as intended.

I rolled out a new update that correctly uses the formulas above. thanks Stukov81-T.TV.

(It was actually related to another bug from Community Highlander that erroneously reversed parameters Attacker and TargetUnit in the OverrideHasHeightAdvantage check. I am reporting this to the CH team.)

could you expose to config the amount of cover bonus it denies? As it is now it seems to deny the vanilla cover bonusses, so if you have increased or decreased those it gives a mismatch. Not too big an issue.

Another note: Cover still gives the Damage Reduction Bonus if you use that mod.

No to both. The main reason i dont mess with high cover is becuase it can be standing (e.g. pillars), and height pretty much doesnt change the fact it's still high cover.

You covered two cases in your description.
But what if:
1. Target has height advantage and is behind high cover? If HA + LC already gets high cover bonus, is there any additional advantage to HA +HC?
2. Target has height disadvantage and behind high cover? If HD + LC = no cover bonus, then is HD + HC = low cover bonus or high cover bonus?

So replacing the first point above with yours? Sure, just erase the lines in my XComAimRoll.ini and you'll be good to go. it should work with the other points above.

So in EU aim rolls, the ini was open to the height. I see youve removed the 20 aim in the xcomgamecore. I had used these values in the other mod, so that each different height gave much more slight bonus, if I added this in that ini, would that screw up the balance horribly?
