The M map isn't working, the new maps aren't showing up. How can I make them appear on the map?
Do I just need to add the ApexMap Mod or do I need to add all the mods from the collection as well?

I'm trying to play this with a few friends but it keeps coming up with apex map mod is not installed for everyone, how do we fix this?

@Remixedefied So as I understand it SWWS_Core.lua is a file from the Save Our Station mod/map (108600\2398274461\mods\Save Our Station - Core\media\lua\server\radio). Then it seems like the first part of the error is because of a null on line 22. I don't know too much about Project Zomboid's api to know how to fix it but I have had issues in the past with SoS so I recognize the file name. But that's also assuming I'm not being dumb and missing something obvious.

@ShredderCody How can you tell the error is possibly for Sos? Just curious. I thought the hr code error was usually linked to Zed spawns(you had Z spawns too high/frequent), but I am no expert by any means. It has deff. been a challenge learning to understand these codes. Haha

I also have an issue where when making the mod it says im missing *.fbx, *.txt ect but I've subscribed to everything I need to?

Do modded maps spawn cars? Having an issue finding them. It also seems like when I spawn in a modded city car spawns in base cities are wonky, ie police brigade in a gas station lol

just a suggestion for anyone using a lot of mod and apexmap mod, recommendation that you add ram to your projectzomboid.json i hope it helps

This is amazing! Although I do have one suggestion.

You do not have to go through a risky and in-depth procedure to bring the command prompt back into your windows system. Instead, you can either drag the folder into your command prompt, or you can type this in the command prompt to set the address " cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2802508333\mods\APEXMAKER ".

Hey! i found you map pack thanks to reddit and i show it to my friend and everybody got excited to play it.

But we see on the collection is added the snake mod pack, we assume we only gonna need turn on the mods and not the map related ones (mansion, ship, factory, military).

Apart something i dont see on the instruction if are necesarry add the map on the map section when hosting (ApexMap, Muldraugh, KY) and the Spawn Regions is inside the lua of the map?

what do you mean artwork files? is it textures folders model_X folders?

The artwork files can be added - until you do you'll just get weird graphics in their place. It should have no impact on explored/looted map.

hello just a quick question, been playing for a month now with no problem with all the map, (i guess) i expanded the map by adding more non conflict map to apexmap folder, by cop and pasting map folder and it's designated files (texturepacks,texttures,maps,tiles,etc ) also editing map/map.info lots=Apexmap. well everything works find i can see the place on my map and it's all there, what i forgot is adding additional (pack= and tiledef=)that are need for some new maps to Apexmap\mod.info. is it ok i didn't added it? will i encounter some problem along the way? or can i still add those tiledef and pack to mod.info without restarting map?

Those generally appear when changes occur to one of the underlying mods the script pulls from. Would need to dive in to each one and figure out why, then tweak the script to use the new filenames/locations the original author moved them to.

Im getting these errors while running your script.

I made a little red line next to them cause I wasnt sure if they are normal. I loaded up the game and respawned in a few of the maps and eveything seemed ok. Im asking cause thinking of using this on my rented server online.

And as @wapaks im also getting that error with (save our station) any fix for it?

You can use it on any server, just need to jump through the usual hoops.

Method 1 I don't condone as it's against the spirit & letter of the rules, but people have created the mod, and uploaded it as a private steam workshop mod and just have their friends subscribe to it. The easiest for sure, but again... rules.

Method 2 is going through the manual steps of adding the mod to the server, and having your friends generate the same mod themselves. So long as it's all in sync there should be no issues.

I've never used the basement mod, so on that one... *shrug* give it a shot. :)

RV Interior you can add as a regular mod, you don't/shouldn't need to merge it with ApexMap for it to work.

thank you, i update my apexmap mod from Version 0.9.15 to 17 and there are some files that cannot be found, 3 fbx on ancillary and 1 *.*, and 1 missing on tiles and 2 cannot be found on removing errant,, also everytime i open my map i get disconnected hmmm maybe cuz of some mods anyway thanks again

@wapaks Untested, but I did speak with the author way back when, and he did move the interior locations so they would not conflict with any of the maps I had included in this. So it *should*.

You can remove maps as desired. Just comment out those lines.

This script reminded me of a very old still 2d zomboid map compilation and brought myself and tons of my friends huge enjoyment over hundreds of hours. Cant wait to see this come back if it ever does, please feel free to reach out if I could help continue this project especially with b42 on the horizon.

To "uninstall" the mod, just remove the ApexMap folder from your mods folder.

This is definitely on a longer hiatus than planned, but will be resumed.

Thanks for the heads up. In regards to WorkshopID=854465851: I have to wonder if Blackbeard deleted that "The Limited Area" map mod, or if it is unavailable due to a Steam Workshop change in policy or the site behaving strangely (as it does from time to time). Well, I left a comment asking about this on one of Blackbeard's other mods.

Anyway, I managed to find an archived copy of "The Limited Area" map over on the "Skymods" site (last updated September 2, 2022).

Also, there is a fix for WorkshopID=2814164363 ModID=TheMallSouthMuldraugh

"The Mall South Muldraugh fixed. Will not stop other maps objects.lua from running (which was stopping other maps loaded after this cars from spawning and forage zones from working)"

Also, Monmouth Country has the "wrong" (I know, the old one is now hidden and they have a new version) WorkshopID=2804453891 and should be WorkshopID=2887123503 The MapFolder name will need a space added. CAUTION, this will conflict with RoadToBedfordFalls
