Came back after the new DLC, had to manually find and remove this mod :( Would crash my game on startup with it enabled, and without the new DLC purchased. Have to make a new game. Was missing a file that a re download didn't fix. Enjoyed the mod while it was still going though!

A lot of the time, this generates pilots without any quality. And it's all or none of them in a system.

Is there a way to see which AI is being used with this or do you still have to guess based on the description & rank / title?

I just noticed the nexus version of the mod is four hours more recent and shows version number 7.0.4 while this version shows 7.0.3; nexus version is also labeled 'dlc6 compatible hotfix'

Used to be one of my mandatory mods, but it is effectively abandonware at this point. Glaring issues like not being able to obtain certain pilots haven't been hotfixed in over half a year and bug reports have been piling up on Nexus. Didn't outright crash my game so that's something at least, but with all the issues, and no reason to expect it will be updated or taken over any time soon, now feels like a good time to just ditch it.

reinstall #3 and undertonnage salvage purchasing with/or enhanced salvage and repair are causing this mod to crash out

its a dependancy, "could not find (something about mechwarrior 5 setting c) to create (something about mechwarrior mercinaries)"

my conclusion: redownload MORE MODS, then i can properly boot in to deactivate them

I did something stupid and tried to launch MW5 with all of bradul's mod set + some other qol mods i wanted, and it froze without an error. I have been picking through and deactivating mods one by one and this one here is giving a crash with "LowLevelFatalError (Line3154)..." something about mwchwarrior 5 option c, mechwarrior online something or other.

Great mod. Been using it forever.
But I noticed that several named pilots (Mist, Preacher, Chainsaw), still have a few punctuation errors in their subtitles. Is there any way that can be fixed client side, or does it have to be fixed, repackaged and reuploaded?

For people who are suffering from crash at start from error on line 3146
1. Unsubscribe from PilotOverhaul.
2. Go to Nexus and download/install the MW5 Mod Compatibility Pack (Steam one could be outdated, or maybe I installed things in the wrong order earlier).
3. Subscribe to PilotOverhaul
This is all assuming you don't have any other incompatible mods affecting pilots.

It's causing crashes on startup at the intro screen for me. Specifically, "Low Fatal Error Line [3146]." If you're getting the same, this is the mod causing it.

could use the option to promote pilots, this over writes the Pilot Promotion mod. its a problem I had with the base game, why just toss the pilots who ya have fought with to the side?

Great Mod though i have to ask is there a option to capture Pilots when i blow the Legs away from a Mech?

Is there any way to have it show more than 11 quirks? The Max is 14, so it's kind of annoying that I can't look and see what the last three are...

For those who have crashes. I've had to go through a 30ish page modlist of nexus and steam mods multiple times and this steam upload of pilot overhaul was the only one to give me startup crashes. The one that did work for me was the Nexus upload file. IDK why, but It was a giant pain in the ass to consolidate and contain that fix for me.

The file received from the Nexus is also listed as 7.0.3 in the game menu.
The files containing the actual mod contents are exactly same(confirmed with a folder/file comparison utility).

It appears that the modder was simply forgot to mod description to 7.0.4.

Change notes mention a new version uploaded March 16, same as 7.0.4 on Nexus. However, in game, it mentions that it's only 7.0.3. Anyone know which version Steam actually has? It *seems* to work without issue.

Works fine for me with 46 active mods, including YAML and most of the other "YA..." stuff so its either the missing depency or a conflict with another mod if it does'nt work.
Just use the MW5 "Load Order Configurator" from Nexus Mods. ;)

Unfortunately on every mission it says "failed to pull pilot info" or something to that affect, and doesn't ever level up pilots for the mechs they are using. I've also encountered a bug where disabling the mod, saving, then enabling suddenly completes the first missions to obtain Snowshoe, Chainsaw and Adder.

@Mergen19 Do you have the compatibility mod installed and active ?
