No specific reason, but mostly comes down to time, haha. I've wanted to give one to other characters like Matt, Sol, Alvis, Marx, Eggman, and so on, but its a combination of things.

Main reason GK does is just because I happened to choose him (partially because he's one of the most popular ones, but mostly just randomly), his boss mode was easy enough to make (he's mostly the same aside from his scripted boss attack sequence), and so on.

So that's the real answer, haha. I'd still like to give it to some other characters, but time is always limited!

is there a reason this guy has a boss mode were as non of your other characters do?

Does Galacta Knight have a negative SDI multiplier on their dstrong tornado? SDI-ing up and down always seemed reversed to me and I could never quite tell why

Boss Mode is for CPU level 1-3!

How do I activate boss mode, every time I try and play as him he isn’t in his boss mode

whereas marx feels like a boss squished into a playable character, Galacta knight feels like a true boss with the sheer power, and the drawbacks of telegraphed attacks beautiful duality

I haven't seen this happen (and he also hasnt been patched in a month + no recent NAir changes as well), so could be a bugged installation? Happens sometimes, so you could try to uninstall and reinstall the character and see if that helps.

anybody else notice how nair sometimes crashes the game? or now?

I will love to see if queen sectonia appear in rivals of aether as a mod, we already have galacta knight and Dark Matter, it will be like meta knightmare returns from kirby: planet robobot.

The boss would be fine if it didnt have near ultra instinct and hit immediately after you strike it.

Bro boss mode is INSANE

To follow up on that: It has now been updated! Anti-cheapie still exists, but has to be turned on with Attack rather than off, among other things.
Should be less intrusive this way and will be updated on other characters as well in time.

Just hold attack and you can ignore it! It shouldn't trigger vs any normal characters though.
Regardless, his anti-cheapie hasn't been updated yet and will at some point.

@subspace tripmine he is not nearly this hard in the games, sure hes a hard kirby boss but his attacks are usually react-able and he doesnt spam, plus the movement in kirby is better suited

GK also gets REALLY confused and starts jumping around like crazy when King Bowser's SBBU* (not SSBM whoops) Black Pallete is active

When using something like King Bowser on his SSBM Black Pallette (that's kinda cheap in of itself because he deals a shit load of damage), the anti-cheap doesn't work.

It's weird.

This happens on all CPU levels, as GK just ignores any damage to him.

I assume the GK isnt CPU level 1-3? As that enables boss mode. Other than that I'm not super sure, as it definitely shouldn't be happening otherwise haha!

if morpho was a thing, im sure NO ONE would figure out how to make the trippy screen flip from forgotten land. bc that would be PAINFUL to do lol

That goes for several of our characters; they're not really that crazy to fight if you just know how they work!

What I think is funny about this character is how some newer players try to use this character because they think he's a win on a silver platter, only to try to projectile camp with F strong, D strong, and F special. The irony of this is that those attacks are either easy to avoid or easy to parry, and Galacta Knight already has a very powerful D special for taking space. Pretty fun character to fight if you know what you're doing. Not so fun if you don't.

For those requesting Morpho, he'd definitely be cool to make, and I've had the idea, but no plans for now! So no promises, but maybe eventually, haha
