I love the concept of this mod. My favourite factions (Nurgle/Death Guard + Salamanders) almost NEVER get love in 40k video games. Keep up the good work!

hi friends, i will be adding banners when I rework the plague system so you will get more effects like damage reflection for a unit upon creating a plague. this way you can roleplay making plagues and "infecting" your troops to spread papa's gifts. the banners will vary in effects/ contact effects to be similar to plagues in the lore.

I think it would be a bit much since theres already a damaging ability. Might be cool if Johnny adds a skill to nurgle lords at LvL X to add the damage reflection to the whole army (lvl 20 or something since it sounds powerful)

Thanks! Is it save compatible or do I have to restart my campaign if I want to swap one out for the other? Also what is your opinion on damage reflection, wouldn't it be really thematic for nurgle?

This is a really good mod, but it does feel like it makes Nurgle a little too strong on the battlefield. Would you recommend to maybe up the AI stat modifiers in battle to make it a little more balanced? Currently playing with Hard campaign and Very Hard battle difficulty with AI cheats on 0.

This has been one of my core mods for a very long time now. It makes Nurgle feel so much better to play and turns the faction into an actual threat when not playing as them.

@Johnny Im late to this suggestion, but giving it via banners would be great. Before WH3 came out, i always hoped Nurgle would get at least a few custom poison effects, but the entire roster (except for the newest SGrinder ROR) is stuck with the same basic ass poison.

Banners with custom contact effects, generated from plague creation would be a great way to implement this idea! Banners allow for tactical flexibility since they can be adjusted before every battle, similar to Dwarf runes. You could have an event trigger with the creation of a plague that awards x amount of banners (1 banner per plague seems a bit slow, maybe 3 each time?).

hi friend i am happy you like the mod. I originally wanted to make different contact effects based on the plagues whereby different plagues will imbue your affected armies with special thematic contact effects however, this was before the plague revamp from thrones of decay. custom contact effects are not difficult to make and I think this is a very good suggestion. do you think custom banners that give custom contact effects as a reward for making different plague combos would be better than arbitrarily assigning to units. I think then you could place your favorite brews on any unit in your army instead of being limited to my decisions on unit by unit basis.

Thank you for this! Nurgle has turned out to be one of my favorite races, and this is a nice, thematic buff to them without going overboard.

One suggestion: Have you considered varying the contact effect on units to include poison, sundered armor, a DoT, or the debuff that cuts armor in half (the name escapes me atm)? Keeping poison attacks on lower tier units while giving higher tier units other effects would encourage the mixing of them in an army and tie into how I believe Nurgle army abilities are "charged" now. My own TWW3 modding experience is limited, so I don't know how difficult a custom contact effect would be that combines poison with armor sundering if you want higher tier units to still apply poison effects. Just some thoughts as I spread Grandfather Nurgle's joyous presents to all in the Old World. :)

@Breakleg Bonesnapper, my subjective opinion is that he is weak in vanilla. slow with lots of health isnt very good in the current missile dominated meta.

@Flareton thanks friend I am happy you like the moddy. I plan on posting a guide in a word doc so that the community can help me add compatibility for their favorite unit mods and missing units therein. it just entails finding the land_units key for the modded unit and then johnny will do the rest.

hallo @Keep calm, its from my moddy i made it ability to make the ability as compatible as possible instead of directly changing unit stats. vanilla rot flies tend to be kinda lame so i made this buff for fly enthusiasts.

Great stuff on this @Johnny! Appreciate all the work you put in to make sure we continue to enjoy a great series.

QQ: Know of any way to integrate Aspiring Champions of any kind (Nurgle in my case) for Warband Ultimate? I want to be able to possibly upgrade my units from Chosen to Aspiring Champions, unless you have a better idea I'm sure it would be done better.

Oh good. Must be an issue on my end. Cheers im glad you enjoy my mods, im enjoying your nurgles stink, even if the damage is negligable it really helps to feel like im playing as nurgle, slowly wearing down health

Tinkering around, I set the change frequency/damage/max targets from 2/2/6 to 4/4/6 and now its working. not sure why it only works this way. test it out for yourself and see if you can get it working with a different set up, but 4/4/6 gets the dps to 2-4 at least
