You running the game while working on RPFM? Because that gives failed to saved.

Spent the last week or so worth of my spare time working on a skin. Just messing around making swords and stuff to try and use in the future but then it sudden stopped saving my work ( Fail save comes up)...... any suggestions?

It's fine. You should join the modder's discord channel as well (link in the video descriptions) and ask there if you want faster answers or answers to stuff I don't know. People usually respond fairly quickly there.

Depends on what you want to do. But if it is just a reskin like this one, start with one of the reskin mod videos. Also consider watching how to install RPFM and AssetEditor if you don't know how to install them. Honestly a lot of modding is not as hard as it would seem and you'll notice that if you watch a video or two of mine.

I wont lie i know next to nothing about setting up my own mod. do you have a recommendation on which video to start on?

Otherwise my other suggestion is for you to watch my videos on how I do my mods and make it exactly the way you want to as I generally have my styles that I like which don't always match up with how other people see stuff.

Hey, i noticed you managed to make kislevite armour non bulky, any chance you can do that for the rest of the kislevite roster? they are just armoured norscans lol

After hitting save (in your 3rd picture) do you then right click on the packfile on the left hand side (in your case @beautiful_Slaanash) and save that?

@MaskedMustachio i use RPFM but i only try to remove & edit assets not make new. in this case i only try to remove example a ponytail from a demonette reskin. You have to use the model in a mod using RPFM. And make sure your variant mesh definition is using that model you made and not say the wsmodel or whatever.

i like the video guide you included but whenever i try to edit or remove something in my asset editor and click ''save'' there is no effect in-game >:(

Well ya Boris. But Kislev does already have a female leader. I'm more annoyed by the factions without one - though I imagine Daniel is impossible to do, and someone already did queen Slanneshite. For a big one, I really want to do a Khorne Campaign but Skarbrand doesn't do it for me.

Thanks all. Darkwolf the reason I didn't stick with his original beard was that it was part of his terrible long balding hair. So if I deleted his hair his beard hair looked very wrong. There was just no real distinction between the two where they met and deleting one made the other look bad. I then tried the same with a regular patriarch beard but it was the same thing with them only the hair on their hats were intermixed with the beards in such a way that one looked bad without the other. So that is one of the reasons I went for a cleaner cut look.
